Taylor Swift And Tom Hiddleston Are Doing What Most Couples Do Within Six Months

Taylor Swift has not slowed down on her whirlwind romance with Tom Hiddleston. Shortly after the actor met the singer’s parents in Nashville last week, the pair jet set over to London so that Taylor could meet his parents.

Most normal couples meet each other’s parents within at least six months of dating, but not Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston. Since they have the money and the resources, Swift, 26, and Hiddleston, 35, have already decided to meet each other’s families after just two weeks of dating. But is that too soon for the new couple? Should Hollywood couples meet the standard timeline when it comes to dating someone new?

According to SheKnows relationship expert, Jodi Rubin, it’s important for celebrity couples to also take it slow when they’re dating someone new. There is no need for Taylor and Tom to rush, even though they all have the time and money in the world to travel together. Here are some guidelines that both normal and celebrity couples should follow when jumping into a new relationship with someone.

“If you have been dating someone for some time — maybe a few months — and both people have a general understanding that the relationship is moving forward, it might be time to introduce them to your family or parents. If you’ve been dating less than a month — even if you feel an amazing fairy-tale connection — I would hold off for to make sure that the relationship isn’t just in the honeymoon stage, and blinded by a fast-pace romance.”

Once you introduce your significant other to your family — and vice versa — then it’s a good time to make plans for future family dinners, vacations, and holidays. Instead, Swift and Hiddleston have been moving a rapid pace in just a short amount of time. As of Monday, June 27, the couple was spotted walking around and holding hands in Rome, Italy.

After Tom met Taylor’s parents, Andrea and Scott, in Nashville least week, the couple flew off to the UK on her private jet to spend 24 hours with his family. Then, the couple was spotted holding hands once again in Ipswich, Suffolk, as Taylor met Dianna Hiddleston. It looks like Tom’s family is already tickled with the singer as they were all seen walking arm-in-arm down the street, as seen in the photos published in the Daily Mail.

Then, Swift and Hiddleston were seen walking by the beach again with Hiddleston’s mom and older sister Sarah. It seems like the beach has played a huge role in their blossoming relationship. Their romance was first confirmed when Swift and Hiddleston were photographed kissing on a beach in Rhode Island near Swift’s home.

The “Wildest Dreams” singer is living out her dreams right now, according to an inside source. The reason why Taylor has gone from 0 to 100 with this relationship is because she’s really happy with Tom and with the way things are progressing.

“Taylor is so happy. She’s living a British rom-com dream,” the source told Us Weekly over the weekend.

In fact, their relationship is moving so fast that the singer-songwriter already thinks she’s already falling for The Night Manager star, another source told E! News.

“She is having a blast traveling with him. He is very romantic and attentive towards her. He is extremely charming. He also makes sure she feels safe wherever they go together. She is on cloud nine and really enjoying this quality time they are spending. She texted her close friends and said, ‘I think I am in love and I never felt this way before!'”

Taylor and Tom first met at the 2016 Met Gala where they were seen dancing together. Then, the singer ended her 15-month relationship with Calvin Harris at the beginning June, shortly after his car accident. Just two weeks later, Taylor was spotted with the Thor actor on the beach in Rhode Island, as previously noted.

Though it’s already clear that Swift has moved on “so quickly” after her breakup, a second source revealed that she believes Hiddleston is “the one” she’s been looking for all her life. So, why would Swift want to slow down now?

“She loves the fact that Tom acts like a mature man. She loves that he is older. She feels very safe and protected with him. The attraction is very strong.”

It seems like Swift likes to move fast when it comes to most of her relationships. She met Harry Styles’ parents within a month of dating the 1D star. Shortly after their split, however, Swift stayed single for two years before pursuing a long-term relationship with Harris.
