Jon Gosselin Reveals He Hasn’t Seen One Son In Over A Year, Trying To Get New Reality Show

Jon Gosselin is speaking out about how things are going for him now that he is not with Kate anymore. Yahoo got the chance to talk to Jon and get all of the details. He shared that he actually hasn’t seen one of his sons in over a year and a half. Jon is working as a DJ and life is going great for him. He even has plans to work on getting a new reality show.

Jon is working as a DJ, but he also helps set up other DJs for jobs and gets a percentage for making the connection. This works out great because he isn’t traveling a lot and Jon can be around for the kids. Jon revealed that Kate Gosselin isn’t his boss anymore, and he loves it. He said, “It’s the longest job I’ve had after the divorce, and it’s all mine. I own it. I don’t have a boss. It’s me. I’m the boss. Now I just want to add more dynamic to it by filming it.”

If you are hopeful to see Jon Gosselin back on television again, that could happen. He is working on the idea of a music related docu-series, and Jon is very hopeful that it will be picked by a television show. Jon said, “The platform might start off on YouTube, and we’ll see what happens, but I’m sure somebody is going to pick it up as soon as they see my face. Unfortunately, that’s how it works.”

The thing is Jon Gosselin is willing to return to reality television, but he doesn’t want his kids on television. Jon doesn’t want the camera following him around all the time. Jon’s big role on this show will be on the production and hosting sides. It is obvious that Jon Gosselin won’t be doing a show with TLC, though. He spoke out and shared about how great it is that he isn’t under TLC now.

“Because I was sworn to secrecy by TLC through my injunction, I had no voice. I had to wait until all of that rode out and hope that people still understand where I’m coming from. Now that there are more reality shows, I think people are more understanding. But then? Then, it was different.”

One thing that isn’t going well for Jon Gosselin right now is the fact that he hasn’t been able to see one of his sons in over a year and a half. Jon shared that this is all because of the way that Kate does things. He gets four kids at a time, and Kate gets to pick which four kids it is that he gets to see. Right now Jon gets dinner with his kids one night a week and then every other weekend they stay with him.

When the kids show up, they either come through his gate or get dropped off by a school bus. His son, Colin, is homeschooled, so he shared that Colin never gets off the bus. This explains part of why he doesn’t get to see him. Jon shared saying, “If the kids want to come, they come. I love them all, but I am going to focus on the ones that want to come. My hands are tied.”

Us Weekly shared back in January that Jon Gosselin shared that he lost everything when he got a divorce from Kate. He even shared that TLC tried to keep them together for the sake of the show, but they didn’t do it. Jon didn’t want his divorce filmed so instead he simply quit and left Kate behind. He said he lost his money and everything.
