Adam Lambert And Queen Make Emotional Tribute To Orlando Massacre Victims, Moving To Australia To Judge On ‘The X Factor’

Adam Lambert’s star has been rising ever since he made his mark on the world through his impressive run on American Idol. This time around, Adam Lambert is scheduled to go to Australia. According to Billboard, Adam Lambert is set to be the third judge for Season 8 of The X Factor in Australia.

Proving that he could sing his heart out during Season 8 of American Idol, he has recently been on tour with Queen. Adam Lambert has officially signed on to become the third judge for Season 8 of The X Factor, and this became apparent when he announced it to the world on Tuesday, June 21. Adam Lambert will be joining Sydney native Iggy Azalea and Australian singer Guy Sebastian, who famously won the first season of the now-defunct Australian Idol in 2003. The show is also expected to replace the host, Luke Jacobz.

Adam Lambert spoke on how he felt about receiving the role of being the third judge on X Factor.

“I am very excited to join X Factor in Australia and am looking forward to helping people shine their brightest. Australia has always been one of my favorite places to tour. The Aussies I’ve met are so kind and good humored, so the thought of getting to live in Sydney is exciting.”

This will definitely not be the first time that Adam Lambert has been on a judge’s table. Lambert has successfully filled in for Keith Urban at the New York auditions for the fourteenth season of American Idol. From that batch of contestants, Lambert was able to put through two contestants that finished in the top three, including Jax and Nick Fradiani, who was the ultimate winner of the season. Lambert also put through Season 14 top 10 alum Qaasim Middleton, and current America’s Got Talent contestant Sal Valentinetti, also predicting that many viewers would love watching him. Adam Lambert obviously knew what he was talking about, as Valentinetti just took home the coveted Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent after a successful audition singing Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.”

History has been made by Adam Lambert and Queen in Romania. The legendary rock band accompanied by living legend Lambert just held their first concert in Romania on June 21, according to Business Review.

The show began at 5:30 p.m. that afternoon with three opening acts, and the band started their performance at 9:00 p.m. Given how big of a name Queen is, with the addition of Adam Lambert into the equation, the tickets were priced at 141 lei to 547 lei, approximately $35 to $137.

Adam Lambert and Queen took the opportunity to make a heartfelt tribute to the victims of the Pulse nightclub massacre in Orlando. According to Gay Times, Queen and Adam Lambert dedicated a rendition of “Who Wants to Live Forever” at the Isle of Wight Festival on Sunday to those who lost their lives.

Adam Lambert spoke in dedication for those who lost their lives in the shooting just before he and Queen performed the song.

“This song is dedicated to those who lost their lives last night in Orlando, Florida, and anybody who has been the victim of senseless violence or hatred.”

Adam Lambert has been included as an integral part of the Queen lineup since 2011. The band knew without a doubt that Adam was a perfect match for them after a special performance at the MTV Europe Awards in Belfast, where the band won the Global Icon Award. Since then, the group held a short European Tour, followed in 2014 by their World Tour with dates in North America, New Zealand, Australia, Asia, Europe, and South America.
