Calvin Harris Convinced Tom Hiddleston Is ‘Using Taylor Swift For Publicity’ — Still Bitter About Split With ‘Blank Space’ Singer?

Calvin Harris seems to think that karma will soon be coming Taylor Swift’s way, having allegedly told friends that Tom Hiddleston is giving him the impression he’s only with the singer for fame and publicity.

Harris was left devastated when Taylor phoned him last month to tell him she no longer wanted to be with him. Calvin, who was still recovering from his car accident two weeks prior, was stunned by the news, having thought that his relationship with Taylor could eventually lead to marriage, sources have claimed.

But with the sudden split came the revelation that Taylor was seeing Tom Hiddleston. Whether or not the “Blank Space” hitmaker was hooking up with the actor during the time she was still claiming to be with Calvin is still unclear, but the whole thing has left the music producer unsettled.

According to Hollywood Life, while Calvin Harris has stressed he wants to move on with his life and focus on his career, he’s still coming to terms with the fact that Taylor not only dumped him but suddenly made it known she was already hooking up with someone new just two weeks after their split.

The 32-year-old is convinced that Tom isn’t in it for the long run, claiming that the Hollywood star is only dating Swift because he knows well enough that dating an A-list singer will bring a lot of publicity into the mix. This is evidently a good thing for Hiddleston, who is allegedly hoping to land the role of James Bond after Daniel Craig confirmed he will not be returning to the franchise for another sequel.

“Calvin’s focused on getting on with his own life. He’s really looking forward to the day he isn’t linked to Taylor,” the source reveals.

“But that doesn’t mean he’s not bitter, he can’t wait for Taylor to get a taste of karma and he thinks Tom might be the one to give it to her. Calvin Harris is suspicious Tom could be using Taylor for the publicity, and let’s just say he won’t be shedding any tears for her if that turns out to be the case.”

It’s not that Calvin is being bitter about the situation, but he definitely doesn’t believe that the relationship between his ex-girlfriend and Tom Hiddleston is genuine. Calvin Harris has already been insinuating that Taylor was secretly hooking up with the actor while he was still together with the former country singer.

Harris just doesn’t seem to understand what the rush was for Tom to start dating Taylor. Couldn’t they have started out as friends first? Unless, of course, the entire relationship is just one big publicity stunt to boost Hiddleston’s career and popularity in Hollywood.

Holding a reputation for having dated Taylor Swift has worked well for the men who’ve previously been linked to the 26-year-old. Unlike the Kardashians, who are known to curse every man they break up with, Taylor actually tends to boost their popularity — not only with fans but also the media.

Harry Styles, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Joe Jonas are just some of the men Swift has dated in the past, and from their recent projects, their careers haven’t been affected even in the slightest following their breakups with the singer. In fact, it actually seems to have helped them.
