Kelsey Grammer Divorce: Camille To Receive $30 Million

Kelsey Grammer will pay ex-wife Camille Grammer nearly $30 million in a deal that is “very close” to being completed.

Assets owned by the couple are listed around $60 million; that money includes three homes that are currently on the market and which were owned by Kelsey and Camille.

According to TMZ:

“Sources tell us Camille will get a straight 50% of the assets.  Here’s why she deserves it.  We’re told when the couple married, Kelsey was broke.  Pretty shocking, considering he had earned “Cheers” and “Frasier” money.  But bad decisions and a drug problem nearly sent Kelsey to the poor house.”

Realizing that her husband was blowing through his cash, it was Camille who allegedly took over the couple’s finances and put them on a sound financial footing.

With three homes and tens of millions now in the bank, the couple will split everything right down the middle.

It’s not clear as to whether or not Camille will continue to earn additional revenue after the divorce. Kelsey Grammer continues to earn money from reruns and sales of both Frasier and Cheers.

Perhaps losing $30 million in his divorce is less stressful than admitting he likes to crossdress to be “adventurous.”

In the meantime, Kelsey Grammer and new wife Kayte Walsh recently renewed their wedding vows in Las Vegas.
