Nicole Kidman And Keith Urban’s Marriage Heading Towards A ‘Breaking Point’ Ahead Of Anniversary?

Is Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s marriage heading towards trouble? OK! Magazine claims that the couple recently had an “explosive fight” that is leading towards some serious problems in their relationship.

This is significant considering it’s just ahead of the couple’s 10th wedding anniversary, and as we’ve seen from past celebrity couples, the 10th anniversary sometimes winds up being the last. The magazine points to Keith Urban’s cancelled appearance from the Indy 500 as evidence behind the explosive fight, blaming Kidman as the reason why Urban didn’t show up to the star-studded event.

A source said of the fight, “They were shouting and cursing. It was like they were unleashing every bit of pent-up anger.”

Although a source claims to have heard the “explosive fight,” Gossip Cop, via a source close to the couple, checked in on the situation and was told that this story is “false.”

It’s not a huge shock to hear that this story is fiction. After all, the Inquisitr just reported how happy the couple is ahead of their big anniversary. Urban simply gushed about his wife, Nicole Kidman, and their life together. At the time, Urban said Nicole is “an amazing wife and mother” and calls her his “best friend.”

The two managed to get through three tragedies together. The first being the sudden death of the actress’ father. Kidman’s father, Dr. Anthony Kidman, was on vacation while he suddenly fell and died. Kidman is still grieving over the sudden 2014 death.

During an interview, she said, “You’ve caught me at a time when I’m still recovering and in grief. There are times you go, ‘Gosh, I wish I could just go and hide in a hole and never come out.”

Kidman told Ellen DeGeneres that it was Urban who “stepped up” and made sure she got through the difficult time.

“To have my husband just step up that way… it makes me cry. We all go through hard times in our lives, but to be literally carried by your partner, and physically, at times, because I was so devastated.”

The second tragedy was the death of Urban’s father, who passed away in December of 2015, after a very long battle with cancer. Urban also went through problems with alcoholism, which his father also struggled with. In 2006, Kidman staged an intervention for Urban, and the singer credits his wife for saving his life.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the singer said, “I caused the implosion of my fresh marriage. It survived, but it’s a miracle it did. I was spiritually awoken with her. I use the expression ‘I was born into her,’ and that’s how I feel. And for the first time in my life, I could shake off the shackles of addiction.”

Of how their relationship is now, Nicole couldn’t help but gush to Women’s Day about how healthy their marriage is.

“It’s been the best ten years of our lives. We’re still very much in love and committed to each other. For every single night he’s away, he leaves me a love letter. Every single night of our relationship.”

Her only wish is that she could’ve had more children with Urban.

“I wish I could have met him much earlier and had way more children with him, but I didn’t. I mean, if I could have had two more children with him that would have been just glorious.”

The two have two daughters together Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, 8, and Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, 6. Kidman has two grown children from her previous marriage to actor Tom Cruise. Throughout the years, she’s had a strained relationship with adopted children Isabella Jane, 24, and Connor Anthony, 21. Most believe the strained relationship is due to the two children still being heavily involved in Scientology. To this day, Kidman refuses to talk about her children’s religion out of respect for them.
