Former NFL star Chad Johnson has reportedly picked up a new tattoo of his estranged wife Evelyn Lozada’s face in hopes to win back her heart.
Underneath Evelyn’s face, there’s the name “Eve,” which is short for Evelyn.
Chad apparently used the image of his new tat as a profile picture on his Twitter account for a short while but has since replaced it with a photo of him baring his chest.
Following his ink unveiling, Johnson’s fans on Twitter, not surprisingly, were a bit confused as to why the athlete would get the tattoo, given the fact that Evelyn filed for divorce after just 40 days of marriage.
In response to the online criticism, the player formerly known as Ochocinco replied:
“Divorce? Child please … that’s my WIFE,” and later added, “I dont give a flying pretzel in skittle rainbow hell what she filed for.”
Lozada, meanwhile, recently said in an interview with Nightline that even though she still loves Chad, she thinks “he needs [professional] help.”
“It’s the hardest thing in the world to walk away from someone that you really love,” Lozada told Nightline’s Amy Robach. “[But] you have to walk away, because I have to protect myself.”
