‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Casting Call Causes An Uproar — Is Chloe Mitchell Returning To Genoa City With A Baby In Tow?

The Young and the Restless issued a casting call for a 2-year-old little girl named Bella on Thursday morning, She Knows Soaps reports. The casting call caused an uproar on social media because many Y&R fans felt that the show could be looking for Chloe Mitchell’s little girl.

According to the Young and the Restless spoilers, Elizabeth Hendrickson is reprising her role as Chloe, and stated that it was for an “extended storyline.” It seems to point in the direction that she will return with a daughter in tow. The real question is, will her daughter belong to Kevin, Billy, or someone unknown?

Let’s think back to when Delia died in 2013. Connor received her corneas, and Chloe kidnapped him, fleeing to Paris, France. Ever since then, the Young and the Restless fans have speculated that Chloe wants another child with Billy to recreate Delia. Of course, a new baby wouldn’t erase all the pain of losing a child, but it would help her not feel as lonely.

Let’s face it; when Chloe sets her mind to something, there is little anyone can say or do to change her mind. If you think back three years ago on The Young and the Restless, she tried to have “goodbye sex” with Billy, but he couldn’t perform due to drinking a little too much booze, so she decided to steal his sperm and use it to get pregnant again. And, Chloe didn’t stop there.

The Young and the Restless spoilers revealed that Chloe told Kevin she wanted to be close to him one more time, and they were intimate — which upped her chances of getting pregnant. Then, she seduced her therapist and convinced him to have sex with her too. In the land of soaps, she surely could have been successful in getting pregnant.

Chloe has been missing for several years, only appearing in a handful of episodes, Soap Opera Digest reports. We learned a few episodes ago that she is working with Victor Newman in a plot to seek revenge on Adam Newman and make sure he pays the price of the hit and run that resulted in her daughter, Delia’s death.

If the Y&R casting call is for Chloe’s kid, it will open the door for another “who’s the daddy?” storylines. We all know The Young and the Restless seems to enjoy dragging those plots for years.

There is also the slim possibility that the casting call could be for an aged Katie (Billy and Victoria’s) kid, but you have to admit, Chloe’s daughter would be MUCH more interesting.

With Kevin semi-attached to both Mariah and Natalie, Chloe’s return with a baby in tow would turn the drama up several notches. As it is, Kevin seems conflicted about which woman is the better one for him as he likes things about both of them.

Chloe returning to flip Billy’s world upside down would bring lots of drama and cause Phyllis significant stress. Billy has a connection to Chloe, and they share the loss of a child, something that no one else can quite understand. How will Phyllis compete with a child? It’s likely she wouldn’t be able to, and she would disappear to run back to Jack with her tail between her legs. And, something tells us, Jack would forgive her for her mistakes like he has always done in the past.
