‘Days Of Our Lives’: Joey’s Life Is In Danger — Will Steve And Kayla’s Son Survive? [Spoilers]

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, June 16 are in. It turns out that emotions will be running high as one Salem teen fights for his life. Will Steve and Kayla’s son survive after being attacked by Dirk during the hostage situation at Simone’s California compound?

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Dirk lost control and took Jade (Paige Searcy) and Simone hostage. Jade was able to get a text message to Joey (James Lastovic), who decided he was going to look for his girlfriend, who never replied back to his message. Despite Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) objections, Joey found Jade at Simone’s California compound. He also landed himself right in the middle of a hostage situation and was attacked by Dirk.

According to the International Business Times, Joey will be transported to a local hospital and must have surgery. The operation is not an easy one, and there is a chance that Joey could lose his life. As the doctor’s work to save Joey on Days of Our Lives, Steve, Kayla, and Jade wait and hope for the best.

Will Joey survive the surgery? There is no guarantee, but the actor is not listed on She Knows as leaving the NBC soap opera. Even though that doesn’t mean he will live, chances are Steve and Kayla won’t lose their son. Out of all the teen actors, James Lastovic is one of the better ones. His story is also much more interesting than the others, and there is so much that the soap opera can do with his character moving forward.

Other Days of Our Lives spoilers for June 16 come from TV Guide. On Thursday’s episode, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will return home. He will speak to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) about marriage. Also, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) apologizes to Ciara Brady (Vivian Jovanni) about his drunken behavior.

Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Dario (Francisco San Martin) are still trapped in the Kiriakis mansion. While stuck in the closet, Nicole and Dario wait for Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) to visit Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). Will they hear important information that proves Nicole didn’t kill Deimos Kiriakis? If so, how will they prove it to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor)?

Other DOOL spoilers for the rest of the week come from She Knows. On Friday’s episode of Days of Our Lives, Chad and Marlena will go to Shady Hills. There was a fire, and Abigail (Kate Mansi) gets injured. She had to undergo surgery and emerges with a giant bandage over her entire face.

As fans know, Kate Mansi has left Days of Our Lives. Marci Miller has been selected to replace the character but will not appear on screen until fall 2016.

Chad realizes that his wife is not getting better at Shady Hills, only worse. She talks about seeing Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and that he started the fire. However, Chad is stunned to find out who was really responsible for the blaze.

Also, expect to see Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) try to convince Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) that they should get married immediately. Will he agree to Theresa’s idea, or will this cause him to stall their wedding plans? How will Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson) fit into all of this?
