Here is what Whitney revealed about how she felt when it all went down.
“I was really scared, and one part of me was like, ‘Well, people faint, it’s probably not a big deal,’ but on the other hand it was scary because it’s never happened to me and I have no experience with it. I’ve never been in the hospital for anything. I was definitely anxious and concerned when the doctor told me that my heart rate was straying a little bit high and I should see a cardiologist. I think for anybody that’s scary.”
As fans know, Whitney Way Thore lost 100 lbs. back in 2011, but she gained it back plus some more. Whitney has struggled with her weight issues for a while now, but the fact that she passed out made her think that she might need to rethink the way she is doing things. Whitney is taking what the doctor had to say seriously because she wants to be around for a long time. Whitney really feels like this is about her being healthy and not about whether you are fat or skinny. Whitney really does feel like you can be healthy even if you are bigger. She went on to explain.
“I think it’s easy to look at a fat person who passes out and make a bigger deal out of it than you would make if a thin person passes out. I think that all fat people and all thin people can have their own health problems and they should take the same kind of precautions for their health.”
Whitney Way Thore realizes that she wasn’t healthy before when she lost all of the weight. She didn’t do it the right way, and instead of being healthy, Whitney was also dealing with an eating disorder instead. She doesn’t want to get back into that habit for sure. Whitney realizes that she needs to sleep more, exercise more, and not do a crash diet. It is all about having healthy habits once again, which is very important to Whitney.
