Jennifer Aniston Divorce Rumor: Report Claims Jen’s Marriage To Justin Theroux Falling Apart, Couple Headed For A Split

Jennifer Aniston is facing a new round of divorce rumors, with reports that her marriage to Justin Theroux has hit the skids just one year in.

The Hollywood power couple have been facing a string of divorce rumors, with the latest report claiming that Theroux decided he’s not meant for marriage, and that the two have drifted apart in the year that they’ve been married. The In Touch Weekly report (via Hollywood Take) claimed that Theroux even missed out on the couple’s first wedding anniversary for work.

The divorce rumors surrounding Jennifer Aniston have some very strange timing. As reports emerge that her marriage is falling apart, there are similar rumors claiming that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are headed toward a split themselves.

The reports claim that infidelity and fighting have driven Brad and Angelina apart, though they are still doing their best to keep the split a secret.

“For a while, the excitement of getting married masked their troubles,” an insider told OK! magazine (via Hollywood Life), “but lately, they’ve been having explosive fights. Neither of them is sure that they can or should, hang on anymore.”

“Brad was initially attracted to her dark side,” the source added, “but when [Angie] goes to this dark place she definitely pushes Brad away. It can be really hard on him. He feels he has been more than patient with Angie, but his confidence in their happiness is wearing thin.”

But sources said there was no connection between the alleged troubles facing Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and the impending split for Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux. There is reportedly no spark between Brad and Jennifer anymore, as Jen still harbors plenty of resentment over how their marriage fell apart and Jolie’s role in all of it.

There is also plenty of doubt as to whether the Jennifer Aniston divorce rumors are true at all. Gossip Cop, a website devoted to debunking celebrity rumors and a frequent critic of In Touch Weekly stories, claimed that there was no truth to the rumor that Aniston and Theroux were headed for a split.

The report also called out the unnamed sources who fed the magazine the rumors about Aniston’s failing marriage.

“The magazine goes on to quote a supposed ‘pal’ of Aniston and Theroux’s as claiming he’d rather work than spend time with his wife, and that the actress supposedly feels ‘he doesn’t take their marriage seriously and is neglecting their relationship for his career.’ Of course, the tabloid then shamelessly concludes its untrue story by insinuating that Aniston and Pitt may reunite now that both will allegedly be single soon. ‘There are a lot of hopeless romantics who would love nothing more than to see Brad and Jen back together’ says a ‘friend,'” who adds, ‘It would really be the perfect Hollywood ending.'”

This would not be the first time that Jennifer Aniston has stared down divorce rumors. Her relationship with Justin Theroux has been a popular target for celebrity gossip outlets, dating back to before their marriage. There have been near-constant reports that Jen is ready to break up with Justin or that one party cheated on the other — all of which have turned out to be false so far.

As recently as three weeks ago, In Touch Weekly claimed that Justin Theroux walked out on his wife after a blowout fight, leading to a new round of rumors that he and Jennifer Aniston were headed for divorce.

Gossip Cop again took apart this Jennifer Aniston divorce rumor, noting that sources close to the couple said they are still happy and going strong.
