Harry Styles Benefiting From Zayn Malik, Bitter About Taylor Swift?

Harry Styles is still in France filming for Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk, but new stories about Harry involving his ex-One Direction bandmate Zayn Malik and ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift have started floating around.

Hits Daily Double reports that Harry may stand to benefit from the fact that Zayn Malik launched a solo career before he did.

When Zayn left One Direction, people wondered if he was going to steal all the solo success for himself, leaving Harry and the rest of the boys in his dust.

While Zayn has enjoyed great success with Mind of Mine, music executives apparently believe that Harry Styles could do even better. The report claims that execs have been studying Zayn’s numbers as they try to decide “how big a check” to write for Harry.

The execs apparently like what they see.

The music bosses note that Malik was “precious about promo opportunities” during his Mind Of Mine promo run, sometimes canceling interviews at the last minute, says HDD. The music fat cats are reportedly confident that Harry Styles would not do this. Harry is gaining a reputation as “the hardest-working man in showbiz.”

In other news, Harry Styles has been revealing his thoughts about his ex Taylor Swift, if Hollywood Life is to be believed.

“Harry knows Taylor’s thing is to write about her ex boyfriends, but he thinks she should hold off when it comes to Calvin. He thinks she may regret it and could hurt the chances of them reconciling in the future.”

After Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift broke up, a number of outlets reported that they were anticipating a new crop of Taylor Swift breakup songs. A Guardian thinkpiece celebrates Swift’s breakup, pointing out that Taylor’s heartbreak means we could get some new Calvin Harris-inspired tracks that are as good as “Wildest Dreams” and “I Knew You Were Trouble.”

Taylor Swift is single again, and I for one am glad. Not for her heartbreak (as a fellow human, naturally, I’m sorry for her pain), and certainly not because she’s “back on the market” because, needless to say, I’m not in it. No, I’m glad selfishly, because if it produces a song half as good as I Knew You Were Trouble, the world will be a better place, for she will ease the pain of anyone who’s ever been through the same… I hope Swift finds true love soon. Really, I do. But in the meantime, I hope she goes on too many dates and can’t make ’em stay. Let her go on making the bad guys good for a weekend a while longer.

If anyone knows what it’s like to have Taylor Swift write about you, it’s Harry Styles. The Styles source who spoke to Hollywood Life said that Harry disagrees with the Guardian — he thinks Taylor should refrain from venting about Calvin in her lyrics, because it may stand in the way of Calvin and Taylor getting back together.

Did Harry himself consider getting back with Taylor at some point but find himself put off by her hostile songs?

Taylor wrote songs like “Style” and “Out Of The Woods,” about Harry, lamenting how he “hit the brakes too soon” on their romance.

It sounds like Harry thinks Calvin and Taylor are a good couple — maybe he doesn’t want her to burn that bridge the way she burned her bridge back to Harry Styles.

While writing songs about her heartbreak is therapeutic for Taylor Swift, 26, her ex Harry Styles, 22, is hoping she thinks twice before writing any poison penned tunes about her split from Calvin Harris, 32.

Fans of Harry and Taylor have been putting in their two cents about the pair, coining interesting phrases and digging up old photographs.

Some Harry fans questioned whether Styles was ever really into Taylor Swift. Somebody found a photograph from a date Harry had with Taylor, showing that he seemed more interested in bonding with stylist Lou Teasdale and her daughter Lux, who also came along.

Others were very pro-Haylor. Somebody envisaged a scenario where a lovestruck Harry Styles shows up at Taylor Swift’s door with a globe and offers her the world. Another passionate fan stated that if Harry Styles and Taylor Swift do not get married then life was not worth living.

Some people alleged that Harry Styles is only famous because of his relationship with Taylor Swift. Styles fans shot back, reminding everyone that Harry was part of the world’s biggest boy band, One Direction, before he met Taylor.

Others were relieved that Harry will not be featuring in any more Taylor Swift songs, because the blonde pop star will presumably now turn her attention to writing about Calvin Harris.

But is Taylor the one who is obsessed? Some people allege that Harry is so obsessed with Taylor he wrote “half of MITAM [One Direction’s Made In The AM album]” about Swift.

Some people firmly believe that Taylor was a model girlfriend and Harry blew it with his “wandering eye.” These fans urged Harry Styles to try again now that Tayvin is over.

Others admitted that they “ship” Harry and Taylor, but only if they revert to the styles they had a few years ago. Before she gets back with Harry, Taylor ought to ditch her grungy Courtney Love look and revive her America’s sweetheart look, some believe.

For his part, Harry Styles would have to slick his hair back and ditch the wild Gucci suits he’s been wearing to keep these fans happy.

Some people questioned whether Harry would write so much of MITAM about Taylor, insisting that Styles was never that serious about Swift.

Others declared that Harry Styles is not a single man, and Harry cannot get back with Taylor because he’s still with Kendall Jenner.

Larries shot back saying that Harry is happy with Louis Tomlinson, so Taylor Swift had better look elsewhere.
