Angelina Jolie Turns 41 Amid Brad Pitt Cheating With Co-Stars & Weight Loss Rumors
Angelina Jolie turns 41 today, still married to Brad Pitt despite repeated rumors swirling that they are on the verge of divorce. A recent movie starring both Jolie and Pitt, By The Sea, flopped, yet Angelina herself has soared in ways ranging from her aspirations to become a humanitarian to her Oscar. The highlights (and low lights) of her life show both her brilliance and what some considered her dark side, noted MSN.
Known as a “wild child,” Angelina developed a reputation for experimentation, including knives, drugs, goth makeup, sadomasochism, and bisexuality. Her career in movies began with a sci-fi, Cyborg 2, but it was her film Hackers that marked a personal turning point in that she met her first husband, Jonny Lee Miller. They tied the knot in 1996 and split in 1999.
Along came Billy Bob Thornton in 2000, whom she married. They were known for unusual antics, such as carrying one another’s blood in tiny containers around the neck. Despite that romance, they ended their marriage soon after she adopted her first child in 2001.
But when it comes to her romantic life, the biggest scandal for the actress occurred when she worked with Brad on Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston, but Brad separated from Jennifer soon after his close encounter of the personal and professional kind with his future wife.
Although she’s remained increasingly involved in humanitarian work, including serving as an ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and also as an unofficial celebrity ambassador for adoptions, Angelina has been repeatedly rumored to have marriage problems with Brad.
Despite those reports, one of the roles that she cherishes the most is being mom to six children, according to In Style.
“I wouldn’t want to be in my 20s or 30s again,” she admitted. “I’m someone who didn’t think I would live very long. I’ve been worried about death and cancer and life. I think I’ve lived very much for the day. Now I’ve settled into my life with my children and Brad.”
Reflecting on her past, Angelina admitted that she had been “self-destructive” at one point in her life, reported E News.
“I was absolutely self-destructive,” confessed Jolie. “I think a lot of young people in this business lose their way….It’s like living in some warped reality.”
But the actress feels that making a commitment to her children has played a key role in turning around those destructive tendencies.
Pitt has sought to help his wife to achieve that goal and avoid any self-destructive lapses, revealed an insider cited by Design & Trend. But despite his efforts, the source claims that she refuses to care for herself, and that argument is threatening their marriage.
“They’ve been having explosive fights. Neither of them is sure that they can or should, hang on anymore. [Angelina] barely eats, she guzzles wine every night and she smokes constantly.”
As for the rumors of cheating? Jolie supposedly feels “betrayed” by Brad, believing that he is cheating on her with his two female co-stars in the movie that he is currently filming. However, Pitt has not been unfaithful to his wife with Marion Cotillard and Lizzy Caplan, notes Gossip Cop.
The report, via Life & Style, describes Angelina as suspicious and jealous of the other actresses. But an insider told Gossip Cop that the cheating rumors are “ridiculous” and not true.
