Selena Gomez And Justin Bieber Update: She’s Focused On Revival Tour As He Enjoys The Single Life

Selena Gomez is happy to be steering clear of all things Justin Bieber as he continues to spend time with other women – most recently, Rita Ora.

Throughout Bieber’s many co-ed outings, Selena Gomez has remained focused on her Revival Tour and is currently in Brooklyn, where she was recently seen hanging out with a bunch of children before grabbing a bite to eat and frolicking through a fountain park.

“Brooklyn,” Selena Gomez captioned a photo of herself and the kids on Instagram.

Meanwhile, a source recently opened up about how her tour has kept her from missing her ex-boyfriend.

“[Selena Gomez] is busy and enjoying being on tour, she loves not having to miss Justin, she loves not having to be bored and text Justin to pass the time. She loves that she doesn’t have to keep tabs on him because she would always watch out for what he was doing while she was not working,” a source revealed to Hollywood Life on June 1.

And it’s a good thing. As fans have seen, Bieber has appeared to be quite the player in the last month. In addition to Ora, he has been seen with his on-again, off-again flame, Hailey Baldwin, and Transformers actress Nicola Peltz. In fact, during a dinner date last week, Bieber treated Peltz to a meal at one of his and Selena Gomez’s favorite spots, Maestro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills.

“[Selena Gomez] loves being busy and enjoying tour life and just being completely out of Justin’s radar. It has been a pretty nice and therapeutic,” the source added.

Just last week, Selena Gomez was said to be concerned about her former boyfriend after Bieber was seen engaging in a number of bizarre activities in Boston and going on a rant against award shows on Instagram.

“[Selena Gomez] isn’t quite sure what happened to Justin during the Billboard Music Awards, but she is concerned. She’s worried that maybe he’s pushing himself too hard and is glad that he has a bit of a break now,” an insider explained to Hollywood Life.

In the same report, it was noted that Selena Gomez had spoken to her ex-boyfriend recently, but wasn’t in close contact with him at that point.

“He seemed fine the last time they communicated, but [Selena Gomez] knows he can be hard on himself,” the source continued. “She’s not angry at him, she feels for him and hopes he’s surrounded by supportive friends right now.”

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber dated from 2010 to 2012 and ever since, they have maintained a close relationship. However, they haven’t been seen in the same place at the same time since Selena Gomez attended his Purpose tour concert in Los Angeles this past March.

In March, Bieber gave Selena Gomez a shout-out on Instagram when he shared a throwback photo of them kissing in a swimming pool with his many fans and followers. After posting the photo, along with the caption, “Feels,” Selena Gomez responded with a like and a comment that said, “Perfect.”

As soon as fans got wind of what had went down between them, rumors began swirling in regard to a possible reconciliation, but unfortunately for “Jelena” fans, it never happened and ever since, Bieber has been enjoying the single life as both he and Selena Gomez tend to their tours.
