Alexandria Vera Facebook Pictures: Houston Teacher Accused Of Getting Pregnant By Her 13-Year-Old Student Used Social Media To Show Off Racy Side

Alexandria Vera is accused of having sex and getting pregnant by her 13-year-old student, and now pictures from the teacher’s Facebook page show her apparent racy side.

The Houston 8th grade teacher turned herself in this week after being accused of carrying on a sexual relationship with a male student, who reportedly impregnated her. Police said Vera, who teaches English at Stovall Middle School, met the student last summer and has been carrying on the relationship for some time.

Alexandria Vera reportedly had a reputation as a “cool teacher” and many suspected that she was carrying on the relationship with the boy.

Vera was open about her relationship, neighbors added.

“That kid was always over [at Vera’s house in Spring] and she always told [neighbors] it was her brother,” a neighbor told CBS affiliate KHOU. “She was having a lot of kids in her home. There was drinking in the front. We always found beer bottles and beer cans on her side of the lawn and half of the (teens) did not look older than high school, maybe.”

Court documents showed that Alexandria Vera even came to introduce herself as the boy’s girlfriend and had the approval of the boy’s parents, KHOU reported. The family was reportedly “supportive and excited” when Alexandria revealed that she was pregnant, the report added.

But Vera reportedly aborted the pregnancy after a child welfare investigator began questioning her about the relationship. She initially denied having a relationship with the boy, court documents showed.

After charges were announced, the school district released a statement to KTRK-TV announcing that Vera had been removed from her classroom.

“Aldine ISD has been made aware that charges have been filed against a former Stovall Middle School teacher involved in inappropriate behavior with a male student. When the allegation was made in April, the teacher was immediately removed from the school and placed on administrative leave. Aldine ISD Police investigated the incident and turned their findings over to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. The safety and security of Aldine ISD’s students and staff remains a priority of the school district.”

With nationwide attention, there are now clues about Vera’s life being gleaned from her social media accounts. Facebook pictures of Alexandria Vera showed a 24-year-old unafraid to show off in slightly racy poses, with skin-exposing pictures.

Vera’s Facebook page also claims that she is the mother of a 5-year-old daughter, and the girl appeared in several photos on Vera’s page. Other shots showed the 24-year-old hanging out with friends and drinking beer in a bar.

This is not the first time a teacher at Stovall Middle School has gotten into hot water for an alleged inappropriate relationship with a student. In 2014, teacher Felicia Smith pleaded guilty to a felony charge of carrying on an improper relationship with a student after she admitted to giving the 15-year-old a lap dance in front of a classroom of students, the Houston Chronicle reported.

The report added that one student even captured the dance on video.

“Another student recorded video of the almost four-minute dance on Feb. 26 that started with the teacher sitting down in the student’s lap, moving back and forth and touching him all over his body.

“Toward the end of the dance, according to the documents, the boy said Smith got on her knees and placed her head between his legs.

“Court records show she then danced with her arms wrapped around him and said, ‘I love you baby, happy birthday.'”

Alexandria Vera is in jail on $100,000 bond, reports indicated.
