Blake Shelton Hopes Miley Cyrus & Adam Levine Bomb On ‘The Voice:’ Christina Aguilera Fired Amid Gwen Stefani Feud?

Blake Shelton and Adam Levine have the most experience as coaches on The Voice, and NBC’s recent shake-up kept Blake and Adam while eliminating Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams. Now, looking forward to the upcoming season of The Voice, which will feature Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys, Shelton dropped a bombshell when it comes to how he really feels, reported Taste Of Country.

When it comes to Miley, Blake admitted that he wants her to bomb.

“God, I hope [Miley] sucks,” confessed Blake. “I hope she sucks, I hope Alicia sucks.”

s for Levine, with whom Shelton has enjoyed a famous “bromance,” the country music superstar didn’t hold back.

“I know Adam sucks,” slammed Blake.

However, Shelton admitted that he has a feeling Cyrus will overcome the doubters.

“I have a feeling she probably won’t [suck],” he added.

Miley took the role of key adviser on The Voice during the most recent season. Now that she has moved into one of the chairs as a coach, the country music superstar offered a prediction as to her performance.

“I think she’ll probably work hard at this because she’s definitely someone who thinks, obviously, thinks outside the box and so I know she’s going to bring her own elements, as far as mentoring, into the show,” he mused.

Cyrus recently visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and talked about her own predictions for what will happen when she’s a coach on The Voice. The “Wrecking Ball” singer also admitted that Shelton has mocked her.

“Blake made a joke of he knows why I always have my tongue out, it’s because it’s always tired because I never stop talking. But he’s gonna regret that when I win.”

What happened behind the scenes that caused producers to make such dramatic changes to The Voice coaching line-up? An insider revealed that there is speculation that NBC wants to cut costs, according to the Wrap.

However, Miley landed a “megabucks” arrangement, while Shelton and Levine reap approximately $13 million every season. The Wrap’s insider also revealed that Gwen probably will make a return to a coach chair in spring, and Pharrell Williams also might return in NBC’s attempt to figure out the best combination of coaches.

As for what happened to Christina Aguilera, Celeb Dirty Laundry questioned whether Aguilera was fired or quit over her feud with Gwen Stefani.

Christina reportedly had numerous issues with both Blake and Gwen, with some fans speculating that Aguilera was “pushed out” by Shelton. The unanswered question is whether Stefani will again play the role of mentor to Team Blake.

However, despite the conspiracy theory claiming that Christina quit or was fired over her feud with Stefani, Gossip Cop cites a source who has a different reason for Aguilera’s absence in the upcoming season.

“[Christina] always takes a season off, and next season is no different,” claimed the source.

Aguilera reportedly fired up the feud with Shelton and Stefani when she learned that producers had offered the lovebirds a “sweetheart deal,” according to Radar Online.

Christina had a “meltdown” last season when she discovered that producers had tempted Blake and Gwen with a bonus if they exhibited PDA on The Voice, a production source told Radar. Stefani had the role of mentor to Team Shelton, and producers wanted to pay extra for some flirting fun.

“Blake and Gwen are getting an interesting offer from the show’s execs,” revealed the on-set insider. “Producers want the two of them to give fans a full-on love-fest this season when she is a mentor on Team Blake, and they are going to throw in huge bonuses for exclusives, such as on-air duets, engagements, etc.”

Rather than cheer for her pals, however, Aguilera was “furious” and had “mini-tantrums,” claimed the source, who also shared the insult to Stefani.

“[Christina] said that Gwen is ‘not vocally talented’ and would not be on the show at all anymore if it was not for her relationship with Blake.”
