Lamar Odom Doesn’t Believe Khloe Kardashian Marriage Is Over, Still Plans To Reconcile

Khloe Kardashian may just have filed for divorce from Lamar Odom for a second time, but according to reports, Lamar still doesn’t believe it’s over for himself and his estranged wife.

According to a Kardashian source who spoke to Hollywood Life this week, Lamar is supposedly “cool” with Khloe filing for divorce for a second time because Odom doesn’t actually believe their marriage will be over.

An insider recently revealed to the site that Lamar is now making big plans to win Khloe back and is allegedly ready to use the six months it takes for their divorce to become final to do everything he can to convince Kardashian to take him back.

“Lamar knew she was going to be doing it, and he’s cool as a cucumber,” the source claimed of Kardashian’s estranged husband. “He’s not losing Khloe. He’s got six months to win her back, and that’s exactly what he’s planning to do to get that divorce off the table once and for all.”

As for what Lamar has planned when it comes to winning Khloe back, the insider close to Odom claimed that he won’t be flashing the cash on extravagant gifts and will instead be working on himself and attempting to getting healthy.

“He’s really going to work on himself, attempt to stop drinking and clean up his act majorly so she can see him in a better light,” Hollywood Life‘s source said of Lamar’s plans, adding that Odom’s “not going to do any grand gestures like buying her s***” because Khloe’s “got all the money in the world and can do that herself.”

The Khloe Kardashian insider also claimed that despite Kardashian and Odom’s seriously rocky romance, which first began in 2009, and their impending divorce, Lamar will always consider Khloe to be his wife.

“They’ve got that up and down love, but at the end of the day, they’re always going to be together,” the source said. “That’s how Lamar feels about Khloe. In the end, she will be his wife.”

Reports claiming that Lamar is planning to work on himself in an attempt to reconcile with Khloe come just days after People alleged that one of the biggest reasons Khloe decided to continue on with divorce proceedings was Odom’s reluctance to get healthy, despite his serious medical scare last year.

“Khloe cares about Lamar and he’ll always be in her life, but there is only so much you can do for a person,” the source admitted.

“You can’t help or fix someone who won’t fix themselves. She was loyal for a long time and taking care of him, but she’s not a babysitter and needs to move on with her life,” another source told the site of Khloe.

People‘s insider also claimed earlier this week that Kardashian actually feels “fine” about filing for divorce from Odom for a second time and “wishes [Lamar] well” in the wake of her latest divorce filing.

“She’s honestly fine and it’s more of a formality at this point,” a source told the site this week, revealing that despite their impending divorce, Khloe and Lamar are still “in regular contact,” meaning that Kardashian’s second filing didn’t come out of the blue for the basketball star.

“She’ll always be there for him. But as far as their marriage is concerned, that’s over and has been for quite some time. It was time to make it official,” the Kardashian insider said.
