Lea Michele Out And About With New Boyfriend, Robert Buckley

Lea Michele is slowly but surely taking the first few steps to go public with her new love, Robert Buckley. Michele was photographed with the iZombie actor while out on a dinner date.

This is the first time Michele was photographed out and about with her new boyfriend. The two were seen on a dinner date at Pace restaurant in Los Angeles with fellow Glee actress Becca Tobin and her fiance, Zach Martin. Tobin and Michele stuck close together, as they were photographed holding hands. Meanwhile, beau Buckley and Tobin’s fiance were seen behind the two friends.

It’s said that as soon as Lea saw the photographers she stayed close to Tobin, as to not get photographed with boyfriend Robert Buckley. However, there is one snap of the couple together.

Despite being coy during their night out, Lea Michele opened up about finding love again. The actress told Entertainment Tonight of being content with her life right now.

“You know I’m just feeling really great right now and super happy. I feel very, very, very lucky and grateful in my life right now, and that’s all that matters.”

As the Inquisitr reported, rumors started to swarm a few weeks ago that Lea had found love again with Robert Buckley. The two were spotted at Milo & Olive, packing on some PDA. A source told Us Weekly of the couple, who thought they were under the radar.

“They were interlocked the whole time they were sitting at the counter, like arms wrapped around each other at their seats and rubbing each other’s backs. At one point…they had either just kissed or were super close talking.”

After Michele was seen at dinner, it seems like she’s escaped for the Memorial Day weekend.

Prior to finding love with Robert Buckley, Lea Michele was dating aspiring model Matthew Paetz for two years. The two met on the set of her music video “On My Way” and immediately clicked, after months of Michele mourning the loss of her then-boyfriend Cory Monteith. As we know, Monteith died of an accidental drug overdose in 2013. The two were dating on and off for two years and were co-stars on the popular show Glee, at the time of his death.

Of her break up with Paetz, sources close to the situation said the actress was “completely blindsided.” Matthew broke up with Lea and gave her no reason as to why, and cut off all contact from her.

“All of a sudden and without warning. He is now refusing to speak with her or anyone else close to her,” said a source.

Early on in their relationship it was said that friends were worried that Paetz might have been taking advantage of the star for her fame and her career, but Lea stuck by him.

Back then a source said that he turned out to be an opportunist.

“He ended up being an opportunist who took advantage and broke up with her in a very heartless way. Her friends were always concerned with the relationship because of his past. All of those fears were validated.

“She was also very supportive of him even when her friends were skeptical of him because of his past. Lea wanted to believe in love and wanted to believe the good in him. She didn’t think he should be punished for his past.”
