Arlington, TX – Texas teacher Brittni Colleps received a five-year prison sentence for having group sex with students. Colleps, 28, was convicted on 16 counts of having an inappropriate relationship with students, a second-degree felony. As the Tarrant County, Texas jury returned a guilty verdict in the teacher and students group sex case, the former high school English teacher showed little emotion, according to Fox News.
Brittni Colleps had sex with students inside her home for two months during 2011, according to court records. Colleps is married with three children. The former Texas high school English teacher turned herself in after a video of a sexualized encounter with multiple students surfaced; the cellphone video was shown to the jury during the trial, ABC News relates.
Three of Colleps former high school students who testified during the group sex with students trial noted they did not want to see the teacher go to jail and did not consider themselves victims. The three student victims were members of the school’s football and track teams. Even though the students Brittni Colleps was convicted of having sex with were 18, having sex with students is still a crime due to a teacher’s position of authority.
Two of Brittni Colleps victims testified they had been to their teacher’s home twice with friends and engaged in a sexual relationship. Colleps and at least some of her victims began exchanging text messages before the group sex with students incidents occurred.
The Texas high school English teacher’s husband was overseas serving in the military when the group sex with students incidents occurred. Christopher Colleps told the media that while he is angry at his wife, he will stand by her, noting the “til death do us part” marriage vows, according to Fox News. Christopher Colleps also noted that engaging in group sex with consenting adults is something he and Brittni Colleps had discussed in the past.

Why does anyone care? Take her job… They were adults (over 18) and this shit makes my getting hired for a teaching position much harder due to my age. As for the husband, don't judge him for sticking to his decision. It's not your relationship that's affected.
