Angelina Jolie’s weight loss continues to shock fans, but that may not be her only issue. As the 40-year-old actress takes a new job, her marriage to Brad Pitt may be on the rocks.
Just days after a report surfaced, claiming Angelina Jolie and her husband are headed for divorce as they continue to feud over their careers, the New York Times has confirmed the actress and mother of six has recently taken on a new job.
“[Angelina Jolie] will join the London School of Economics’ Center for Women, Peace and Security as one of four visiting professors in a new master’s program that starts taking applicants in the fall,” the outlet reported on May 23.

As part of her role with the university, Angelina Jolie will be “delivering guest lectures and taking part in workshops” as a “visiting professor in practice,” the outlet explained.
Angelina Jolie married Brad Pitt in August 2014, 9 years after going public with their romance. Since then, they have welcomed three biological children, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox, and share three adopted children, Maddox, Pax and Zahara.

Weeks ago, a source claimed Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were at odds over whose career was more important.
Although Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt previously agreed that they would never work at the same time so that their children would always have at least one parent around, a new report claims they’ve gone back on their agreement and are in now in a full blown career “war.”
“They’re at war over who’s looking after the kids since that agreement got blown out the window with her desire to turn her directing career into a success after several failures,” a source recently told Radar Online. “This is tearing them apart, but Brad’s got no choice. He’s done more than enough to help her directing career, even risking his own reputation in her schmaltzy flop ‘By the Sea,’ and now it’s time to get back to work.”
Adding to the couple’s alleged marital stress is the fact that Pitt continues to be tied to his Allied co-stars, Marion Cotillard and Lizzy Caplan, as production is underway in London. Earlier this month, Hollywood Life shared a new report, which stated that Pitt and Cotillard had grown extremely close to one another on-set and even had nicknames for one another.
Weeks later, Radar Online claimed Pitt had been caught kissing Caplan. However, a short time later, Gossip Cop confirmed the report was not true.
Pitt “was recently photographed kissing co-star Lizzy Caplan on set. Of course, the two were filming a scene for the movie and weren’t ‘caught’ as [Radar Online] falsely claims,” the outlet explained. “Additionally, Pitt and Caplan plays siblings in the film, and the set photos in question depict him kissing his ‘sister’ on the cheek.”
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have yet to address the allegations of an impending divorce and have not been spotted together in several weeks. Although Pitt is often seen on set with his female co-stars, including Marion Cotillard, Jolie sightings have been less frequent. During her latest appearance earlier this month, she was seen traveling to Los Angeles with her brother James Haven and her son Knox.
During her trip, Angelina Jolie appeared to be quite thin. Rumors continue to swirl, claiming the actress has dwindled down to just 79 pounds as she continues to face marital stress.
