Kim Kardashian Divorce: Kanye West’s Bizarre Rant On ‘Ellen’ Reportedly Pushes Kim To Her Breaking Point
Kim Kardashian is reportedly headed down a road toward divorce after Kanye West’s long and bizarre rant on the Ellen DeGeneres Show left her embarrassed and fed up with her husband’s unpredictable behavior.
A frequent guest on Ellen, Kanye West turned in his most memorable performance ever this week when he launched into an uninterrupted monologue about his talents and artistic vision. Kanye said he is more than a rapper on the radio, instead thinking of himself as a renaissance artist.
“Don’t tell me about being likeable. We’ve got a hundred years here,” he said (via the Los Angeles Times). “We’re one race, the human race, one civilization. We’re a blip in the existence of the universe, and we’re constantly trying to pull each other down. Not doing things to help each other. That’s my point. It’s like I’m shaking talking about it. I know it’s daytime TV, but I feel that I can make a difference while I’m here. I feel that I can make things better through my skill set. I’m an artist, and I feel that I can make things better through my skill set. I’m a artist. Five years old, art school. PhD, Art Institute of Chicago.”

The nearly eight-minute rant generated plenty of headlines and some scorn for what many saw as Kanye’s oversized ego.
Radar Online reported that the rant was the latest embarrassment for Kim, who has become increasingly mortified at her husband’s unhinged rants and tantrums.
“Kim cringes every time someone asks her about Kanye’s rants,” the source said. “She knows he just can’t stop himself and he’s going to do them no matter what she says and no matter how many time she’s told him to be more in control.”
This is the latest in a string of reports predicting divorce for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. The couple has been surrounded by rumors of a potential split dating all the way back to their 2014 wedding, with a steady stream of often unsourced reports claiming they are being torn apart by jealousy and fighting.
One recent report claimed that Kanye was planning to pull the plug on their marriage sometime around the time of the couple’s second wedding anniversary in May, while separate reports claim it’s Kim ready to file for divorce and possibly even meeting with a lawyer to get the process started.
But as is always the case with the divorce rumors surrounding Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, there is a healthy dose of skepticism regarding the reports. Gossip Cop pushed back against the reports that Kanye’s rant on the Ellen DeGeneres Show was leading Kim toward divorce, noting that Kim even tweeted to say she was “proud of my baby @kanyewest on @theellenshow #KanyeonEllen” after his appearance.

The outlet noted that Radar Online has very often missed the mark regarding Kim and Kanye reports, including a possibly made-up story in January that they were renewing their wedding vows in Paris.
“When that tact apparently didn’t work, the webloid in February falsely claimed Kardashian met with a divorce lawyer. Once again, Gossip Cop busted them for publishing yet another untruth. A barrage of similarly inaccurate tales about them being ‘on the rocks” ensured, culminating with Kardashian’s rep exclusively assuring Gossip Cop, ‘They are not getting divorced.’ Still, in April, the blog published a phony account about Kardashian and West being ‘separated.'”
And if Kim Kardashian actually is considering divorce, she is doing a very good job concealing her intentions. Kim has been putting on a good public face regarding the relationship, sharing happy pictures of the couple on Instagram and gushing about Kanye on Twitter.
