Iggy Azalea Airs Beef With Beyoncé, Jessica Alba, Nick Young — But Only Has Love For Kesha

Iggy Azalea, a hip-hop artist from Australia, has been known to create quite a stir with her honest and blatant remarks. Recently, TMZ reported that the rapper saved her fiancé Nick Young, the LA Lakers basketball player, from a tattoo disaster when he was close to getting the words “Born Reble” tattooed across his back.

Iggy Azalea spotted the misspelled “Reble” just in time and saved the day for Nick Young by pointing out the mistake. Then, she shared the incident with her fans by declaring that Nick Young was bad at spelling and it was just out of her sheer love to toward the basketball player that she intervened in the tattooing work when she noticed that something was wrong with the spelling.

While her comments sounded lighthearted at the time, a section of Nick Young’s fans feel that Iggy Azalea is resorting to shaming Nick Young publicly as he has previously confessed to cheating on Iggy Azalea. Public opinion seems to be divided at the moment as to whether Iggy Azalea is a vindictive person who hasn’t forgiven her fiancé for cheating on her; or, whether she is just being as blunt and straightforward as she has always been.

In other news, Perez Hilton reported that Iggy Azalea went into a tirade on Twitter when she slammed Beyoncé for referring to “Becky” in one of the songs on her latest album Lemonade.

Iggy used the social media platform to clarify that she had nothing against Beyoncé, but that she felt it was inappropriate for her to stereotype a white woman by using the stereotypically white female name “Becky,” indicating that this was an instance of reverse racism. Azalea went on to say how the name Becky (that she referred to as “the B word”) became popular after Beyoncé released her song “Sorry,” which contained the lyric, “Becky with the good hair.”

In yet another interview, the blunt Iggy Azaleai criticized Jessica Alba for posting her song “P*ssy” on Facebook and liking it. According to Iggy, Jessica Alba is too regal and graceful to like a crass song like “P*ssy.”

Iggy Azalea is not seemingly concerned about the impressions that her statements and her actions make on the younger generation. She has previously said that she does not consider herself to be a role model because of the crazy things that she does on stage. According to Just Jared, Iggy does not wish to be a role model, but rather aims to speak her mind through her lyrics, even if she ends up offending some people in the process.

Iggy’s frequent stirs may make her appear to be reckless or even uncaring, but it turns out that the singer is anything but uncaring in her personal life. Recently, Iggy Azaleai has collaborated with her friend Kesha, in helping her to relaunch her career after a recent controversy. The pair have recorded a song together, and it still has not yet been decided whether the new song will appear on Izzy Azalea’s new album or on Kesha’s upcoming album.

According to the Indian Express, Iggy is currently gearing up for the release of her second album, Digital Distortion, which is a follow-up to her 2014 debut, The New Classic, and its reissue Reclassified. The “Fancy” singer’s new project is scheduled to be released later this year, and it has been predicted that her latest offering will be as interesting and exciting as the singer herself. As the artist said in a recent interview, she doesn’t plan to have regrets in her later years.

“I would never aspire to being a boring person or regret being a ridiculous one.”
