‘Pretty Little Liars’: Will Alison’s Classroom Scene Be Addressed In Season 7?

Pretty Little Liars Season 7 premieres on June 21. What can fans expect when PLL returns to Freeform? According to Carter Matt, the official trailer has finally been released, but it makes viewers nervous about Hanna Marin. This is especially true given that the hashtag used for the trailer is #SaveHanna. The video also brings up some questions for fans, including if Alison DiLaurentis’ classroom scene shown in the Season 6B trailer will be part of Pretty Little Liars Season 7.

As previously reported by Inquisitr, the #SaveHanna trailer showed some disturbing scenes. In one Pretty Little Liars scene, it appeared that Spencer Hastings, Emily Fields, and Aria Montgomery were burying a body. That could just be clever editing, but PLL fans wondered if they killed “A” or were forced to murder to get Hanna back.

According to TV Line, the official Instagram account for Pretty Little Liars posted the trailer for Season 7. It was teased in the caption that the Liars may go to incredible lengths to save Hanna. This seems to imply that Ashley Benson’s character is alive, but “A” is making the Liars do horrible things in exchange for Hanna’s safe return.

In addition to Hanna’s situation, Pretty Little Liars fans are wondering about the other characters. One includes Alison DiLaurentis, played by Sasha Pieterse. When the Season 6B trailer was released, Alison was seen in a classroom. She wrote on the chalkboard that her name was Mrs. Rollins. Suddenly, her friends ran into the classroom and warned that “he” was coming. This struck fear in Alison’s heart. Unless I missed it, that specific scene was not shown last season. So, will it be addressed in Pretty Little Liars Season 7?

Some PLL fans have been asking the same question about Alison’s classroom scene. One comment on TV Line suggested that the Pretty Little Liars writers forgot, but that seems unlikely. Although Alison DiLaurentis and Elliot Rollins are married now, which explains her writing Mrs. Rollins, she is currently in a psychiatric hospital. She still believes that Rollins has her best interests in mind. It was previously stated that Alison will find out about Mary Drake “early in the season.” Once she discovers Mary is her aunt (and Charlotte’s mother,) it will only be a matter of time before she figures out Elliot isn’t a nice guy.

So, why was Alison’s classroom scene included in the Season 6B trailer if it would not be addressed until Pretty Little Liars Season 7? One theory is that Alison will have more of her hallucinations. Even though part of those “hallucinations” were Rollins wearing masks, others were a side effect of too much medication. Another speculation from fans is that the classroom scene might be some kind of flashback. Viewers who disagree with this bring up creative editing, which may or may not be true.

It does seem odd that the specific classroom scene in the Pretty Little Liars Season 6B trailer has not been seen in the series. Hopefully, this is one of those loose ends that showrunner Marlene King promised would be tied up. Let’s hope all our questions are answered, and there are no plot holes by the time the Season 7 finale of Pretty Little Liars airs.

What do you think of the theories regarding Alison DiLaurentis and Elliot Rollins? Why do you think the classroom scene warning Alison “he” is coming has not been aired yet? Was it done intentionally, or did the writers forget to address this? Do you have any theories on how this scene will be included in Pretty Little Liars Season 7?
