Rob Kardashian, Blac Chyna Baby: Have They Already Chosen A Name?
Well, that didn’t take long! Just hours after Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna announced their pregnancy, news outlets began to speculate about what the baby would be named.
According to an unnamed Hollywood Life source, Rob and Blac have already decided what they will name the baby if it’s a boy, and if we’re being honest, the name really isn’t that much of a shock.
“Rob has always said he wants his first born to be a boy and wants to name him Robert Kardashian after his dad. He knows this would be the ultimate tribute to his father, who meant the world to him. It also means his son, if he does indeed have a son, would carry on the family name.”
Given the level of respect and the regular homage paid to the late Kardashian patriarch, it comes as no surprise that Rob may want to name his son after his father. In fact, it would be a surprise if initial reports indicated that Rob wasn’t considering naming his baby after his dad if the baby is a boy.
It’s not the first time Robert has been tossed around as a moniker for a Kardashian baby. When Kim Kardashian gave birth to her son Saint West back in December, initial reports claimed that Saint’s middle name was Robert. Subsequent reports indicated that Saint’s middle name is not Robert, and according to E! News, Saint West’s birth certificate does not list a middle name.
After much speculation, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna announced their pregnancy using an emoji which appears to be from Amber Rose’s MuvaMoji app. Rob and Blac both posted the emoji to their Instagram accounts on Friday.
Before the official announcements, fans and media outlets alike had wondered whether or not Rob Kardashian’s fiancée was carrying his child. Back in mid-April, social media exploded after Blac Chyna was hosting a party at a night club and appeared to have a baby bump. Additionally, the model, who is known for her partying prowess, was spotted several times abstaining from alcohol in recent weeks.
And when Rob Kardashian, Blac Chyna, and Kim Kardashian attended an OBGYN appointment together, social media took note of that, as well.
The news of a Rob Kardashian-Blac Chyna baby comes after several months of turmoil and drama within the Kardashian-Jenner family. When Rob and Black confirmed their relationship in January, Rob’s sisters were none too happy about the relationship. And when the pair revealed in April that they’d gotten engaged, reports indicated that Rob’s sisters again privately disagreed.

The opposition to Rob’s relationship with Blac Chyna comes because, in the past, Blac Chyna and Kylie Jenner have been sworn enemies. That’s because Blac Chyna is the mother to Tyga’s son, and Kylie is currently dating the rapper. Blac claims that Kylie began dating Tyga before Blac and Tyga had actually split, and Chyna has spent plenty of time ripping into Kylie via social media.
But according to reports, Kylie and Blac have settled their feud, and many of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters reached out to Rob via social media to congratulate him on the upcoming addition to his family. Kim Kardashian and Kylie were among those sisters who publicly supported Rob Kardashian after the baby news he and Blac Chyna shared.
Some reports have indicated that Rob and Blac intend to shoot plenty of footage about the pregnancy on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Some have even hinted that the pregnancy is a big part of the reason that Rob decided to return to KUWTK in the first place.
