‘Big Brother Canada’ 4, Week 10 Spoilers: Was POV Used To Save A Nominated House Guest?

Sunday night’s episode of Big Brother Canada 4 featured promises, betrayals, and upset, as tensions rose among house guests. Tim and Nikki were nominated for eviction by Nick and Phil, who won the Head of Household (HOH) competition. Apparently, Nick was not consulted by Phil prior to nominations and was angry with his brother for not discussing the matter with him first as Nick wanted to place Cassandra on the block.

Nevertheless, Cassandra was seen doing some behind the scenes wrangling by promising the brothers prior to the quickie Power of Veto (POV) if she won the challenge she wouldn’t use the power to save Tim, her closest ally in the game. After pulling Tim aside and speaking to him privately before the POV ceremony, Cassandra was conflicted, but ultimately decided saving Tim was her best move.

This created animosity between the brothers, and Nick was seen thoroughly scolding Phil as the two are playing as one house guest, thus, whatever decision one of them makes has an impact on the other. Nick announced every move the pair makes going forward in the game of Big Brother Canada will be his, which Phil agreed to.

Eventually, the week 10 HOH was played and Kelsey was seen in Sunday’s episode winning the competition. It was no surprise that she kept her only true allies left in the game, Nick and Phil, safe and targeted Cassandra and Tim.

Nevertheless, Joker’s Updates reported live feed spoilers indicated Tim won the POV on Saturday. Since he was a nominated house guest, it was clear he would likely save himself from the block with the power.

On Sunday, that is exactly what Tim did during the POV ceremony, according to Joker’s Updates.

Tim made this move despite the fact Cassandra tried valiantly to convince him to use the POV on her, according to Big Brother Network.

Cassandra used the argument that Tim had already been a Big Brother winner in Australia and she wanted her chance to win. Big Brother Network further reports Cassandra tried to convince Tim if she was saved, Joel would be placed on the block against him, noting Tim would have a better chance of staying in the game if he was up against Joel. As noted, Tim was not buying what she was selling and used the POV to protect himself from being sent to jury for now.

This meant Kelsey was required to place another cast member on the block to sit next to Cassandra. Kelsey had already made a pledge to Nick and Phil she would keep them safe, so the only person left to use as a replacement nominee was Joel.

Joker’s Updates reports that according to live feeds, it appears that Joel did not take the being placed up for eviction well and was upset after the POV ceremony. In fact, live feeds indicate Joel was so bothered by what took place he threatened to walk out the door.

Joel reportedly told Cassandra, as she tried to convince him to stay, he did not want to be seen as a “screw up,” so he would rather just leave, according to Joker’s Updates. Even Phil told Joel to fight to stay in the game, and Joel responded saying he would try and really only has the brothers to rely on this week.

By Monday afternoon, Nick and Phil continued to persist that if Cassandra stays in the Big Brother Canada 4 house she has a good chance of winning the entire game. Kelsey was heard on live feeds telling the brothers she will definitely vote out Cassandra this week, but also trying to convince Nick and Phil that Joel will win over any other player if he is one of the final two house guests left in the game.

As of Monday evening, Cassandra continued her aggressive and relentless campaign to remain in the house. Joker’s Updates notes, at the same time Joel was often seen on live feeds lying on his bed “deep in thought” or downstairs in the kitchen looking for slop to eat.

Campaigning aside, the Big Brother Canada house guest sent home this week will be the player the others feel is the biggest threat. The finale is nearing, and cast members must consider who they can win against in the end. At this point in the game, Joel seems to be the player with the least blood on his hands, as well as the cast mate most others like as a person. Thus, Joel could currently be the most likely to win the game if he makes it to final two.
