Beyoncé, Jay Z Divorce: Wedding Rings Go Missing Despite Bey’s Tribute To Her ‘Beautiful Husband’

Beyoncé and Jay Z are still sparking the divorce rumors. The highly-publicized couple were recently spotted without their wedding rings, making some wonder if there’s still trouble in paradise.

Beyoncé dropped her new visual album, Lemonade, on Saturday, April 23. On the raw and candid album, the singer addressed the infidelity that occurred in her marriage to Jay Z. Bey even slammed a woman she refers to as “Becky” on the track “Sorry,” and blames the mysterious lady for ruining their marriage.

The singer just kicked off her Formation World Tour on Wednesday, April 28. According to E! Online, both Bey and Jay were spotted without their wedding rings in Miami. Beyoncé was photographed during the show without her sparkly $5 million ring. Some fans assume the reason why she chose not to wear the ring was because she didn’t want to lose it while performing. It’s still coincidental with the constant speculation about her marriage and the hints towards infidelity on her album.

Beyoncé wasn’t the only want who opted not to wear a wedding ring. Jay Z was also without his ring when he was photographed talking to DJ Khaled backstage during the concert, thanks to a photo from an inside source. But unless the photo is flipped, it’s showing the New Yorker’s right hand, not his left hand.

The outlet noted that the reason why the powerhouse couple chose not to wear wedding rings was because of their choice of matching “IV” tattoos on their ring fingers. Bey and Jay got the matching tattoos to symbolize their wedding date of April 4, 2008. But there have been rumors that Beyonce was in the process of having the tattoo removed as she was spotted with a bandage on that finger back in 2014, when the divorce rumors first sparked. Since then, the tattoo has been fading over time.

This is the first sighting since Beyoncé and Jay Z were last seen together on March 6, as sources revealed to Radar Online that they’ve been living separate lives, and sleeping in separate beds as they work out their marital problems. Despite the speculation surrounding their marriage, Beyoncé gave a loving tribute to her husband at the end of the concert. She closed out the show by dedicating the song “Halo” to Jay Z.

“I want to dedicate this song to my family, thank you guys for supporting me. I want to dedicate this song to my beautiful husband, I love you so much.”

The 46-year-old hip hop mogul and Tidal owner was seen watching her performance from the audience. Jay did not join Bey during the performances of their hit songs “Drunk In Love” or “Crazy In Love.” Check out the video below.

Does that mean that Beyoncé and Jay Z are headed for a divorce? Or, is this all an elaborate publicity stunt for her new album? It was previously assumed that the couple used the 2014 divorce rumors to their advantage for their joint On The Run Tour. Bey and Jay even shared special footage and private moments such as their wedding day, just like Bey did in her new HBO special.

A source recently revealed to Page Six that the couple created the infidelity rumors in order to generate buzz and help sell the album.

“They develop these storylines to sell albums. ‘Lemonade’ is a movie crafted to drive sales. Jay and Beyoncé are entertainers at the top of their game. Do you think Jay would release her album on [his own] Tidal if it really was all about him? He is 100 percent behind this.”

The source also revealed that “Becky” was not one particular woman, but a combination of women that Jay Z has been rumored to have had an affair with in the past. Jay has been recently linked to Rachel Roy and Rita Ora, along with Rihanna and protégé Tori Kelly.

“I don’t think Beyoncé is calling out one girl. It is many girls. The rumors have been around for years,” the source added.

Beyoncé is loving the social media drama that’s been stirred from Lemonade, even if it paints Jay negatively, an insider revealed to the Hollywood Life. The alleged snitch claims that Queen Bey will never reveal who “Becky” really is, and wants to leave that up to the public to decide.

“Beyoncé is loving all the talk that is coming from the Lemonade fallout, and she wants it to continue forever. She doesn’t want to tell people if they are right or wrong in their assumptions; she wants people to continue guessing. She wants to make this her version of Carly Simon’s ‘You’re So Vain,’ and she wants it to last and have people continue to ask questions about it for the rest of her life”

The album and special have already made an impact on pop culture and black women across the globe. In addition, Lemonade has already become iTunes’ fastest-selling album, with over one million downloads in less than a week. It’s also one of the most streamed albums on Tidal.

It was previously rumored that Jay Z “hatesLemonade, but another source told Hollywood Life that he believes it’s a musical “masterpiece,” even though it shows him in an unflattering light.
