Zac Efron & Sami Miro Break-Up? Efron Deletes Girlfriend From Social Media [Report]

Is Zac Efron single again?

According to reports, it looks like Efron could have split from his girlfriend of almost 2 years, Sam Miro, after Zac noticeably scrubbed his Instagram page of all traces of the model, who he began dating in 2014.

Hollywood Life is reporting that Zac deleted every trace of Sami from his Instagram page, including the slew of photos Efron posted of the loved-up pair during their vacation in Japan back in January, and also appears to have unfollowed Miro on the photo sharing site and on his official Twitter account.

The site is speculating that Zac and Sami’s split may have come after Miro allegedly cheated on Efron while attending California’s Coachella music festival last week, though those reports are yet to be confirmed.

While Zac hasn’t spoken out about his alleged split from Sami, eagle-eyed fans noticed that the only Instagram photo that remains of their relationship is a shot Efron posted of himself on November 7, where he was posing in front of a large painting of The Joker that Miro supposedly bought him.

While it’s not clear why Efron hasn’t deleted the snap along with his other photos of Miro, the caption intriguingly reads, “Stains of youth linger.”

Despite Zac appeared to have deleted all traces of Sami from his own social media pages, it appears that Miro is yet to do the same.

Sami’s Twitter page still features a slew of photos of the two enjoying their time together before their alleged split, including a shot of herself and Zac wearing matching jackets posted on February 6. Sami sweetly captioned the photo “Matchy matchy,” which shows the two both wearing decorated leather jackets.

A number of photos of Sami and Zac together during their year and a half long romance also remain of Sami’s official Instagram page.

Reports that Zac Efron and Sami Miro may have broken up will likely come as a surprise for fans of the couple, as the model only just gushed over the High School Musical actor in a recent interview with Elle in September, 2015.

“I’ve never spoken about us before, but … it’s definitely different,” Sami said of her relationship with Efron in the interview last year, where she admitted that she takes the intense attention from Zac Efron’s fans and the media with “a grain of salt.”

“I think that you have to take that [kind of attention] with a grain of salt, and put yourself in other people’s positions,” Miro continued of Zac to Elle last year, “I think that’s actually a really big part of it, putting yourself in their shoes, and trying to understand where they’re coming from, and then it kinds of makes sense.”

Adding that attention “kind of just comes with the territory” with dating a world famous movie star like Zac Efron, Miro also revealed in the candid Elle interview that she’s not hiding anything in her life, particularly when it comes to her relationships.

“I know there’s no really changing that, so you have to just embrace it. I’m not trying to hide anything in my life,” Sami said, “If I was dating someone who wasn’t in the limelight, I might have more photos on [Instagram] of our relationship, but I do think it’s important. I mean, it’s what is going on in my life, and I think that my social media can still represent that.”
