‘Big Brother Canada’ 4 Spoilers, Week 9: New HOH Makes Plans to Nominate Causing Tension in the House

It’s been an exciting, yet harrowing week in the Big Brother Canada 4 house this week, as one player left the game to be with family, a major player was used as a replacement nominee, and a cast member with no allies was sent to jury.

To recap, Ramsey left Big Brother Canada to be with his father, who had suffered a heart attack and was headed to surgery. Because Ramsey was a week 8 nominee for eviction and had won the Power of Veto (POV) before leaving, it was surmised he would have removed himself from the block. So, as a replacement nominee, brothers Nick and Phil, who shared last week’s HOH, nominated Tim, who asked to be a pawn. Maddy had been on the chopping block the entire time and was ultimately voted out of the Big Brother Canada house and sent to jury.

After the dust settled, Big Brother Canada viewers were able to watch the shock, amazement, and excitement on house members’ faces, as they learned their loved ones would be competing for them in the week 9 Head of Household (HOH) competition. Tim’s father, Jared’s sister, Cassandra’s father, Kelsey’s sister, Joel’s mother, and Nikki’s best friend were present to try and win the power for their beloveds.

The episode ended prior to the completion of the HOH competition, but according to Joker’s Updates, live feed spoilers reveal that Cassandra via her dad won week 9 HOH.

The Huffington Post stated that not only did Cassandra garner the HOH title, but she was given the chance to spend time with her father after the competition.

According to Big Brother Network, many of the cast members were able to speak with their loved ones and “get outside world input and guidance,” which is usually forbidden in the Big Brother house. This is because production typically wants game play to be somewhat organic and not influenced by anything happening outside the confines of the Big Brother world. Nevertheless, Big Brother Network notes that many of the house guests were “…sharing details on things like who to worry about and what to stop doing over perception from the audience.”

As for this week’s nominations, they have not been made as of yet, but clearly it is certain Cassandra will not nominate her best friend in the house, Tim, for eviction. She appears to be very dedicated to him, but at times his allegiance to her is questionable, as Tim, one of the international Big Brother icons voted into the house by Canada, is truly a wild card.

Despite the fact that nominations have yet to be made, there has been a lot of talk, whispering, and negotiation going on about who will be at risk this week. Tim has been a major influence on Cassandra and was very upset because he had heard the night before the eviction episode, Nick and Phil schemed with Jared to try and flip the votes from getting out Maddy to sending Tim out the door.

Also on live feeds, Jared was seen speaking to Cassandra, trying to convince her that Tim was throwing her under the bus and didn’t care if she left the game. During the conversation, to appease him, Cassandra told Jared she loves him and wants to go to the end with him, but in reality she wants him gone.

Subsequently, Jared left the HOH room and Nick and Phil entered. Cassandra told them she is nominating them for eviction. They responded by saying her move was laughable and that others will be mocking her if she goes through with it.

According to Joker’s Updates live feeds spoilers, Cassandra was not pleased with Nick and Phil’s response, as they apparently told her what to say during her nomination speech. Apparently, Nick and Phil want Cassandra to tell the others that the Pax Brothers play the game just like Big Brother U.S. season 16 winner Derrick Levasseur. It should be noted that Derrick is considered by many to be one of the best, most strategic Big Brother players of all time, thus, Cassandra was both amused and agitated by their request.

It is not clear who Cassandra will nominate to sit alongside the brothers, however, there had been talk that a pawn may be put up for eviction. It was also discussed that if anyone on the block won the upcoming POV and used it to get off the eviction block, Jared may be a backdoor target.

The Huntington Post reports that a double eviction will take place this week, so two house guests will be sent to jury, leaving only 6 players in the house. The fun can be seen in the next episode, which will air Sunday night.
