Ronda Rousey Likes The Idea Of Being On ‘The Walking Dead’

In a Fox News face-to-face interview, Ronda Rousey, the UFC fighter, said she would love to be on The Walking Dead. She was talking with Odell Beckham, Jr., the New York Giants wide receiver, and having a kind of “would you rather” type of discussion.

Ronda Rousey and Odell Beckham, Jr. took turns asking each other “would you rather” questions and the first question was, “Would you rather be a character on Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead.”

Beckham admitted that he hadn’t really watched either show, just a couple of episodes of the Game of Thrones. He actually wasn’t familiar with The Walking Dead at all and had to ask if it was “the one with the zombies.” Ronda laughed and nodded. Beckham ultimately chose the Game of Thrones because “from what I seen it was a pretty good show, I mean the couple of episodes I caught.” Ronda Rousey said she wouldn’t want to be on that because “there isn’t anyone in any of them where I’m like, ‘I wanna be that person, it’s going good for them.'” Rousey admitted that she hadn’t watched any of the Game of Thrones either but she had read all the books and nothing ends well for any of the characters.

When asked what her choice would be, Ronda Rousey said,

I want to be in ‘Walking Dead‘ because I’m really big in post-apocalyptic stuff anyway; I want to shoot things all day. It would be kind of fun.

As Comic Book said about the interview with Rousey and Beckham, “It wasn’t an unprompted reveal but it was clearly one she had thought about before.” Rousey is obviously a fan of the show and has watched at least some of it.

This fan had a great idea:

Maybe Ronda Rousey could play Judith in a special fast forward episode? Now wouldn’t that be something to see? Both The Walking Dead and Ronda Rousey fans would have something to get excited about. Would you want to see that?

Of course, not all fans of The Walking Dead or fans of Ronda Rousey think that this would be a good idea. Many of them think that she should stick to fighting and stay away from acting.

The Walking Dead does have some interesting guests play characters in the show from time to time. As Movie Pilot points out, “The Walking Dead has welcomed celebrities such as Anthrax’s Scott Ian and former Pittsburgh Steeler Hines Ward to the show in the past.” Does that mean that Ronda Rousey really could be appearing on the show? It’s unlikely, but fans could always hope!

What do you think? If Rousey did make an appearance on The Walking Dead, would you want her to be part of the Alexandria crew? Or another crew of good guys? Or would you rather see her as a villain? Maybe someone in Negan’s team that gets destroyed? Or would you prefer to see Ronda Rousey as a zombie?
