Prince Overworked Himself To Death For Charity

A Prince close associate has spoken out in tears in a Daily KOS report. He was convinced that it wasn’t drug overdose that killed the legendary singer, composer, guitar player and producer. It was sheer exhaustion from doing concerts in order to fuel the artist’s habitual acts of kindness such as doling out money to virtually any stranger in need.

“Music is just a cover,” says Van Jones who used to work at the White House and became friends with Prince. Anthony Kapel “Van” Jones is an American political activist, commentator, author and lawyer. Jones explained that what most people do not know is that Prince is not a self-centered musical genius with a big ego like the typical rock star.

Jones recalls the time when he just left his work at the White House. He said that one of the first persons to call him was Prince and former U.S. Vice President Al Gore. Prince had advised him then to go to Jerusalem and when he returned, to write down everything he needed on a piece of paper “and I will help you.”

Jones also disclosed that Prince hid all his good deeds from public scrutiny because his religion did not allow him to disclose any humanitarian work. Jones said that he had decided to disclose these matters as he could no longer keep them secret. Jones broke down in tears several times during the Daily KOS interview as he recalled how good Prince was.

He added that he was fed up with people thinking that it was all about the music for the artist. The Jones disclosure indicates that Prince has been living a secret life all along, albeit a good one. This will also explain why there is very little known about the private life of the musician who has touched so many people with his music.

It now appears that all the sexual undertones of his music, especially the androgynous gestures and outfits were just a front. What is real, though, is that Prince gave himself totally to his audience each time he performed on stage. With God as his chief source of inspiration, every song is meant to praise his creator. Being a tribute, it not only had to be prepared meticulously. It had to be perfect in every way.

From this perspective, the late musical legend was performing in his concerts just as a normal Christian would sing praises and hymns to God in Sunday school. He did not need drugs nor liquor to give him the high he needed every time he performed. It came from an endless source which is known in Christian circles as simply the Holy Spirit.

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that the so-called rupture can happen any time in this generation, for as long as the elders are still alive. If Prince believed in this theory, he could have died believing that paradise on earth is coming soon. Hence, he was taking every opportunity to help everyone he could, regardless of the toll it took on his body.

If true, such fresh revelations will certainly require a major paradigm shift on the part of Prince’s millions of fans. These disclosures also appear compatible with a report from The Globe And Mail that the singer is a a complete teetotaler.

“In 2009, Prince, a Jehovah’s Witness, told an interviewer with the Los Angeles Times that he didn’t do drugs ‘or I’d give you a joint’ to share while they listened to music. Heather McElhatton, who worked on and off as a set decorator for Prince’s video shoots at Paisley Park from 1988 to 1998, said she never saw him take drugs or drink during her time there.”

The source also quoted McElhatton as saying: “he did have a lot of energy. He could shoot for two days straight…Was it natural energy? Was it augmented energy? I don’t know. I never saw him eat.”

Prince’s former percussionist, Sheila E. would counter this by saying: “It’s just like being a football player and a basketball player. You know he really took care of himself. He ate well. He ate better than me.”

The report ruled out any undisclosed congenital or lingering illness that Prince might have hidden from the public eye. Based on the two sources thus far, drug overdose, undisclosed long-term illness, excessive drinking or drugs, can all be ruled out. With all these out of the equation, the only possible explanation that remains could be that Prince was brought down by the common flu while working himself to death.

The Inquisitr will see how all this information pans out once the official autopsy report is released.
