Kendall Jenner Seeks Independence But Her Sister Kim Kardashian Just Called Her A Spoiled Brat

Kendall Jenner likes to have at least a few things to call her own in this life. She has long expressed her desire for privacy in her relationships. She also wants to have a few endorsement contracts that don’t go through Kris Kardashian.

Kendall Jenner enjoys showing off her business skills and is quite capable of negotiating her own endorsements with Estee Lauder, Puma, and others. Us Weekly reported a quote from Kendall’s interview with Nightline.

“I’m not trying to use a family name or anything. In reality I worked pretty hard for this… It wasn’t like I just got it magically and it just happened.”

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are allegedly furious, according to Radar Online. Kendall and Kylie Jenner are getting a lot more attention than Kim these days, and apparently, a lot more advertising contracts. The two are allegedly angry because Kendall got the Estee Lauder contract in November 2014 on her own, and now she has a Puma contract as well.

Kylie and Kendall Jenner have also been very successful on the runway. Both have been welcomed in Milan, New York, and around the world. They are making a name for themselves, and they don’t always include Kris Jenner in their plans.

Is Kim Kardashian afraid of being overshadowed by her little sister? Does KanyeWest resent his wife getting less attention and fewer runway shows? According to Radar Online, they just do not like sharing that spotlight. Perhaps, Kim is not ready to pass the torch to her little sisters. Maybe, she finds herself being left out and in some way replaced by the younger set.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are even mad at Kris Jenner. They think the younger Jenner sisters should not be allowed to do things like this on their own. Kris Kardashian is too soft on the younger daughters, according to the elder power couple.

“Kanye can’t believe Kris is letting them do what they want and he and Kim tore into her for being a lousy manager. She’s just as powerless to control the girls, but they say this is what happens when you let two spoiled girls get away with so much all their lives.”

Kim Kardashian’s sudden anger seems strange, considering Us Weekly reported in November 2014 that the Estee Lauder deal was announced to the entire family. Kim was aware of Kendall’s contract with Estee Lauder and that she landed it by herself. It was no secret, so how can we understand that Kim and Kanye West are angry because they were not told? They knew and were fine with it, but now they are angry? What changed? Perhaps there is more to this story. Could it be that older and wiser Kim has a bit more experience and is upset her sisters are growing up too fast? Maybe she dreads the time when Kendall may not be around as much?

Kendall Jenner is proud of what she has accomplished and not about to let her big sister steal her thunder. Is she stashing away a nest egg and perhaps planning her ultimate escape from her reality TV family? Doing the show has never really been a choice for her. It was just part of growing up in the Kardashian and Jenner household. Kendall prefers her modeling career and endorsements to being followed around and filmed, especially on her dates. Dating privacy has always been a major point of contention with Kendall.

Kendall Jenner does have a right to make her own business contracts, but is older sister Kim Kardashian afraid to let her grow up?
