Christina Aguilera will not be returning to The Voice for Season 11, but at this point, it is unclear why. Was she fired? Did she quit? Whatever the case, she will reportedly not be seen on the upcoming installment, and she may have left the series for good.

While Gossip Cop claimed Christina Aguilera was not fired from The Voice at the end of last month, a report by the Wrap days prior spoke of the show’s future and failed to mention her potential return. Instead, a source spoke of the possible comebacks of Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams. According to the source, Stefani will “likely” return to her coaching position next spring and will possibly be joined by Williams and a couple of others, whose names weren’t revealed.

As for The Voice Season 11, the starring coaches will be Miley Cyrus, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Alicia Keys.

Although Christina Aguilera and her alleged feud with Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will not be seen during The Voice Season 11, a new dispute has allegedly arose between Levine and Cyrus, who a recent source claimed “totally butted heads” during production on The Voice Season 10.

During Season 10, Cyrus appeared as a mentor for Christina Aguilera’s team, and while she was not featured on the coaching panel, she reportedly had plenty of interaction with Levine, and it didn’t go well.

“They both have short attention spans,” a source close to The Voice told Us Weekly. “They find each other annoying. Adam would get agitated when Miley would interrupt him, and she enjoyed getting under his skin.”

Around the same time, a second source spoke out, revealing Levine was completely annoyed by his newest co-star.

“Adam and Miley were non-stop bickering during their last taping together,” an insider told Radar Online last week. “He nitpicks almost every single thing she says. Adam seems to find Miley to be extremely loud-mouthed and absolutely annoying!”

In other Christina Aguilera news, the “Genie in a Bottle” singer recently opened up about her experiences as a teenager in the world of entertainment, claiming she often found herself in “a sea of older men,” some of whom “tried to take advantage.”

“There were definitely times when I felt very uncomfortable in certain situations with older men,” Christina Aguilera revealed to the Daily Star on April 17. “You have to learn very quickly to set your boundaries and standards. I don’t like to stand aside and let a man dictate what we should wear, how we should speak, have an opinion but not too much and be sexy but not too sexy.”

Christina Aguilera is also rumored to be in talks to appear on a possible reboot of American Idol. While the series came to an end weeks ago on FOX, the network is reportedly considering bringing the show back after the finale season received stellar ratings. On April 12, OK! Magazine shared the news, stating that the network was interested in having Christina Aguilera star on the show as a judge.

“Rumors around Fox studios is that there’s a huge surge of support to give the show another run. And with someone like [Christina Aguilera] on board, they would seriously consider a four-person panel this time,” the source explained.
