Ghost In Top Hat Photographed By Teenage Girl
Ward Green, England – Prepare to get creeped out: A teenage girl has apparently snapped a photograph of a ghost wearing a top hat in her backyard, according to The Daily Mail. While attempting to snap an innocent picture of a bird with her iPad, 16-year-old Charlotte Wearing accidentally got a shot of a spectral being, a spirit her family refers to as Jack.
“I don’t like it,” Charlotte said of this haunting experience. “I just don’t like it.”
Gillian, the teenager’s mother, believes that Jack is looking for a mysterious woman holding a baby who’s been spotted lurking in the master bedroom. If so, the family hopes the two are reunited once again so these spectral intruders will be able to move on with their afterlives.
“When [Charlotte] came down the stairs, her face was white and she was tapping the iPad because she’d got Jack,” Gillian explained to The Sun. In regards to the ghost himself, the teen’s mom added, “I feel so sorry for him because I think he’s looking for his wife and child. “I think he should just move on but I’d love to know who he was and why he’s here.”
Of course, not everyone is buying into the ghost theory. Some believe the blurry photo is nothing more than the product of an inventive teen using one of the many iPad apps currently on the market. Producing ghost photos is apparently pretty simple these days.
“Hang on, this is an iPhone/IPad app!” one individual wrote on The Daily Mail Blog. “It’s called Ghost Capture and one of the ghosts you can superimpose on to your pictures is a man in a top hat and tails – exactly the same as the one in this article!”
“Yeah, this is from an iPad app which adds ‘ghost’ images to any photo you take,” one Sun reader pointed out. “That exact ghost is available in the app. Which makes me wonder whether the back story about ‘Jack’ visiting the family for 4 years was made up by the family, or by the journalist, or both together?”
