Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada has reportedly been released from a hospital in Miami where she was treated for an injury suffered during a heated argument with her new husband Chad Johnson.
As we reported Sunday, Lozada and Johnson got into a verbal altercation Saturday night after Evelyn found a Walgreens receipt for a box of condoms in the center console of her Maserati and confronted the NFL star about it.
At sometime during the verbal spat, Johnson got so angry that he allegedly headbutted his bride, leaving a three-inch laceration on her forehead. (Johnson later told police he butted heads with Lozada completely by accident.)
TMZ reports that following the attack, Lozada fled to a neighbors house for safety and called the police while Chad was driving around looking for her.
Upon the police’s arrival, Johnson was arrested and taken to the Broward County Jail on one charge of domestic violence. He has since been released from jail.
Johnson, who was previously known as Ochocinco, was subsequently cut by the Miami Dolphins after news of his arrest and domestic dispute went public.
Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada were married in July after Johnson proposed in November 2010 with a massive 10-carat diamond ring. The couple’s new reality series, Ev and Ocho is set to premiere next month on VH1.

@nick, well you are right its not normal if it was on purpose, i didnt know about any girl slapping in college, never heard anything bad about him, but heard plenty about her attacking people and trying to rip their heads off. luckily i never watch television so i have minimal information. he walked into a hornet's nest i understand.
I don't think the football team should have been quick to cut him. I think they should hav gotton all the facts first as well as look to disqualify him for a year because there should be some consequence, but I see them both paying a heavy price for there actions. I feel for them both there human and there both hurting, I don't know either of them personally, but I felt there relationship was doomed from the start I actually posted it on my fb page. but I take no pleasure in there pain I wish them both the best, even if they come together to try and work things out. may God bless them both in everyway the lord see fit.

I feel REALLY BAD for Ocho. They've taken EVERYTHING from him because of this!
