Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Will Likely Get Engaged Soon — And They Want A Baby [Report]

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are reportedly ready to take their romance to the next level, or possibly, the next levels.

Following the finalization of Gwen Stefani’s divorce from husband Gavin Rossdale, with whom she shares three children, a report claims she and her boyfriend, Shelton, could be preparing to get married — and have a child together.

“Blake could propose to [Gwen Stefani] very soon,” a source close to Shelton revealed to Us Weekly for their latest issue. “[Gwen Stefani] is everything he wants… With Gwen, Blake has the family life he’d hoped to have with Miranda. Her kids love him as much as she does.”

In addition, said the magazine’s source, Gwen Stefani and Shelton have discussed having a child of their own. And apparently, she’s on board with the idea.

“Blake wants kids of his own, and [Gwen Stefani] is willing to try!” the source explained.

From her past relationship with Rossdale, Gwen Stefani has three boys, Kingston, 9; Zuma, 7; and Apollo, 2, while Shelton doesn’t yet have any biological children.

As they prepare for the next phase in their relationship, Gwen Stefani and Shelton continue to film The Voice Season 10 and promote their new albums, Stefani’s This Is What The Truth Feels Like, which was released last month, and Shelton’s If I’m Honest, which hits stores on May 20. Meanwhile, they are doing their best to stay in touch, despite their busy schedules.

“[Gwen Stefani] texts Blake a million times a day, but he doesn’t mind at all,” the source said. “Blake hasn’t been this happy in years!”

Gwen Stefani began dating Shelton at the end of last year, and after weeks of rumors regarding their romance, they went public in November 2015. Since then, the couple has been extremely open with their relationship on The Voice and on social media, and they’ve even poked fun at the ongoing rumors regarding Gwen Stefani’s possible pregnancy and their allegedly upcoming wedding.

Speaking of rumors, OK! Magazine published an odd cover recently, claiming Gwen Stefani was going to be a “pregnant bride.” In the magazine’s new issue, which hit stands on April 13, headlines teased of a “$1 million ceremony” and “secrets of their Oklahoma wedding.”

“Boy or girl? Baby’s name inside!” the cover read.

Then, inside the magazine, an insider claimed, “They’re expecting a baby girl and getting hitched this summer,” which would mean Gwen Stefani would be pregnant with their child when she walked down the aisle.

The report also hinted that Gwen Stefani quickly getting married was the result of her religious beliefs.

“[Gwen Stefani] still believed you should be married before you have a baby,” the insider said.

However, at the same time, the source claimed Gwen Stefani and Shelton had been trying to conceive a child “for months,” despite the fact that they haven’t yet tied the knot.

“They’ve been trying to get pregnant for months, so this would be an absolute dream come true,” the source added.

Not surprisingly, the report wasn’t true.

In response to the OK! Magazine report, a source close to Shelton and Gwen Stefani told Gossip Cop the “pregnant bride” report is completely fictional, and a rep for Gwen Stefani added that the report was all “lies.”
