‘Real Housewives’ Star Ramona Singer Slams Carole Radziwill For Being A Bad Friend?

Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer is back for another season of the show, and this is a particularly fun season for her, as she’s now single and ready to mingle. On previous seasons of The Real Housewives of New York, Singer wasn’t too eager to talk about her failing marriage. It is clear that she was very hurt by her ex-husband’s betrayal, as he was caught cheating with a much younger woman. This Real Housewives star has revealed that she’s convinced he cheated because he couldn’t deal with her massive success.

According to a new Bravo report, Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer is now reflecting on the past couple of years, and she’s found support in her Real Housewives friends. Many of the wives stepped up to be a support system for her, as she moved on from Mario Singer. However, she didn’t feel that Carole Radziwill was there for her. Of course, Carole joined The Real Housewives of New York shortly after the affair was revealed, but Ramona feels she could have stepped up.

“I really felt like Carole wasn’t there for me in the way I would expect a friend to be. Maybe I have higher expectations from my friends. I have a group of friends for over 20 years, and they would randomly stop over and call constantly and invite me to join them with their husbands,” Singer reveals about her Real Housewives co-star.

Of course, Radziwill has gone through her own issues while filming The Real Housewives of New York, as Luann de Lesseps has been very critical of her new relationship with Adam. But Singer feels that her Real Housewives co-star should have been there for her, as she was dealing with a massive cheating scandal and a very public divorce. Even though she has friends who are not on the show, one can imagine that Ramona would appreciate the extra support from her Real Housewives friend.

“When you are going through struggles and emotional times, friends should be supportive. Not just at random times like when it works for them, but all the time. Carole and I met in late August after everything was already done with my settlement with my ex, but I so needed her to be there during the rough times. The fact that she says I do all the talking, well maybe that’s true, but she says nothing, which is why I say everything,” Singer points out about her Real Housewives co-star.

Of course, Radziwill had a few words about her co-star on the premiere episode of this season of The Real Housewives of New York. The two ladies went out for a lunch, and Ramona was talking the entire time. But as she points out, she feels that she has to talk all the time, as her co-star doesn’t have much to say. And during last night’s episode, Singer didn’t come to her old friend’s defense. In other words, she can’t be that vocal about the lack of support for Carole when she hasn’t been there for Dorinda Medley.

“Dorinda was there for me during it. Whether she and I had long walks, lunches or simple calls, she proved to me what a friend should be,” she reveals about her long-time friend, adding about the drama, “Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would be a thunderstorm from Dorinda. In retrospect I wish I kept my mouth shut. My intentions were never to hurt her.”

Of course, she’s referring to the lack of support that Ramona is speaking about the drama that surrounded Medley’s relationship with John, which played out on last night’s episode.

What do you think of the support systems in place on The Real Housewives of New York? Are you surprised that they aren’t always there for one another?
