Prince Harry: On His Relationship With ‘The Boss’, Queen Elizabeth, And Pippa Dating Rumors

A whole lot of questions about Prince Harry and the rest of the royals that onlookers and royal watchers may have had about the royal family are soon to be answered, as a documentary entitled Elizabeth at 90- A Family Tribute is soon to air on BBC.

Each family member was interviewed for the film and spoke candidly about their matriarch, Queen Elizabeth II. Prince Harry has shared that the Queen is not only his grandmother, he also views her as his “boss.”

Hello! magazine relays the details about the documentary, within which Harry shares humorous bits about his family.

“Created by film-maker John Bridcut, the insightful programme will see various members of the royal family take part and contribute their own personal insights into the monarch’s life. It will also feature exclusive footage from the Queen’s personal ciné films, recorded by the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, and Her Majesty’s late parents King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.”

Harry goes on to relay that it is due to his tremendous respect for the Queen that he views her first and most frequently as “his boss” as opposed to his grandmother.

“I still view her more as the Queen than my grandmother. You have this huge amount of respect for your boss and I always view her as my boss – but occasionally as a grandmother. And the more grandmother bits, the more I can get advice and suck all that information out of her and all that experience that she’s had for so long.”

Not only is the film a tribute to the Queen on her 90th birthday, it is also in celebration of becoming the longest reigning British monarch in history. The Queen’s daughter and aunt to Prince William and Prince Harry reminds that this is a “mixed blessing” to have gained this title.

“Don’t forget there’s a very double-edged sword. People tend to forget when she passed the longest reigning monarch, that was only because her father died so young. So you know for her that’s a very mixed blessing, and you know it’s a record that she would much rather not have been able to pass.”

As the Queen gets on in years, royal enthusiasts are aware that it will soon be her son, Charles, who takes over, followed by Prince William. Although Harry was not far off in line to the throne in recent years, he has been pushed back by William’s son, Prince George, as well as Princess Charlotte, seeing as a new law has been passed that a female will not be surpassed by a younger brother in the line to the throne.

This leaves Harry to go about his business, taking on duties for the family, yet also allows him a certain freedom that his older brother has never quite had. Prince Harry’s dating life has been a testament to this, as the Prince has been most recently linked to an American PR girl. However, the tabloids just can’t get past a possible relationship between Harry and Kate Middletton’s sister, Pippa. Rumors are still flying that the two are secretly dating, even though Pippa has been spotted on a number of occasions with her new beau, James Matthews.

Gossip Cop has stepped up to get to the bottom of the dating rumors between Pippa and Harry, after word spread that the two were spending time together at a specific pub near both of their homes.

“The bottom line is this: Prince Harry and Middleton are not having “secret dates” at this bar or anywhere else.”
