Gizelle Bryant Says Comment About Renting Her Home Was Pure Shade
Gizelle Bryant had a few things she wanted to discuss during the finale of The Real Housewives of Potomac, and some of her co-stars were a bit rattled by her approach. Ashley Darby didn’t understand why Gizelle needed to bring up race again and again, and the two could clearly not see eye to eye. These days, Bryant doesn’t understand why Ashley is still hung up on the racial debate. Plus, Bryant was a bit surprised that some of her other co-stars were slamming her decision to rent her home in Potomac.
According to a new Bravo report, Gizelle Bryant is now speaking out about the shade she felt she received during the Real Housewives of Potomac reunion. Gizelle wasn’t too happy about the ladies judging her for renting her home, but she tries to turn it into something great. As she mentioned in her introduction for the show, the streets are talking about her, and she sees it as a good thing.
“These streets are not talking good, bad, or indifferent about Charrisse and Katie. Wait! Let me listen to what I hear on THEIR streets, I’m straining my ears. Would you believe I can’t hear a THING…ummm, yep CRICKETS. So, OF COURSE they have negative, side commentary about my tag line. However, I actually love when people show the hate that they really feel. My initial reaction was to laugh, I was so flattered. Everyone knows that when people are hating on you that only means you’re doing something right…and clearly they’re doing a whole lot wrong,” Gizelle Bryant revealed on her blog, sharing that her co-stars are not necessarily doing something right either.
As it turns out, there may be some issues brewing.
Of course, Gizelle has had issues with almost everyone on The Real Housewives of Potomac, and during the first few episodes, Bryant was labeled as a troublemaker. It was during this time that she thought Ashley Darby was a THOT (that hoe over there) for making the comments she did about having a baby during a certain period. Of course, Gizelle didn’t know that Ashley was married and was trying to have a baby.
“I have no idea why Ashley is STILL in a tailspin. I never called her a THOT. I said she has THOT-ish behavior. My comment was highly justified. I met her and within 30 minutes, I knew her husband’s penis size, sexual appetite and watched her hump Robyn’s leg. I’m sorry, that’s not acting like a lady. Wow, as far as Ashley’s hair is concerned. She knows I love her ‘big bush’. I tell her to wear it all the time AND I’ve asked her the products that she uses so that I can use them on my children. I think she brought up me not liking her hair because she just wanted to hear herself talk. She got lonely all the way on the other end of the couch (emoji sad face),” Gizelle Bryant writes on her blog, revealing that she thinks Ashley should just move on from the drama.
It does sound like Gizelle really likes to share her thoughts and opinions but can’t really take the feedback or consequences she has to face. She’s been rude and arrogant to some of her co-stars and then doesn’t understand why her co-stars don’t like her. It does seem odd that she would see herself as a victim with the renting shade, especially since she’s been so good at dishing it out herself.
