The Next Online Vehicle Coming To ‘GTA V’ Is A Custom Minivan Lowrider

Proving their ongoing commitment to bring new customization options to even more vehicles in Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar Games continues work on updating more cars to accept the additional modification upgrades found exclusively at the new Benny’s Original Motor Works garage.

Just one week after this Tuesday’s release of the Declasse Tornado Custom in GTA V, the developer has already announced yet another new custom vehicle, which will become available in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of a new update scheduled for April 12. Rockstar Games announced today that players will be able to fully customize a new lowrider version of the Vapid Minivan, providing the perfect vehicle for every criminal soccer mom located in Los Santos.

Like most of the new custom vehicles that have been recently added to Grand Theft Auto V, The Vapid Minivan can actually already be found within the game. However, the release of the car’s custom edition means that players can finally build a unique minivan using all of the additional vehicle mods at Benny’s garage.

For those not looking to own their own minivan lowrider, Rockstar Games is also launching a new competitive game mode in GTA Online with next week’s update. In the Inch by Inch Adversary Mode, rival teams will vie for control over a single package. Users who can successfully deliver the package to their end zone will score a point, but doing so won’t be as easy as it sounds. The player holding the package won’t be able to use their weapons or fight in any way, making the rest of the team responsible for their safety as they attempt to move across the field.

In addition to the upcoming release of the new Vapid Minivan Custom and the Inch by Inch Adversary Mode, Rockstar Games also announced the latest in a long series of special week-long events for Grand Theft Auto Online. To help players prepare for Tuesday’s new content, the developer is turning on double rewards for select activities from now through next Thursday.

Throughout the weekend, fans will receive additional payouts of RP and cash for participating in various Adversary Modes. When the new Inch by Inch match becomes available next week, users will then be able to enjoy extra rewards on the new Adversary Mode for the remainder of the event.

“In honor of the upcoming Inch by Inch Adversary Mode release, starting today we are offering double GTA$ & RP on a rotating Playlist of Adversary Modes that lasts all week long, which will include Inch By Inch when it launches on Tuesday.”

Gamers can choose to save their bonus cash payouts to build their own Vapid Minivan Custom or they can use their money to help unlock new equipment since Rockstar Games is also holding a sale on gear throughout the week. Grand Theft Auto Online fans can now find discounts on every sniper rifle and shotgun in the game. All body armor purchases are also half-off during the event.

“Once you’ve topped up your Maze bank account from the Playlist, head over to Ammu-Nation to take advantage of discounts on a range of weapons and maybe even pick up a few of the ones you’ve just unlocked with your Double RP earnings. Read on below for more details.”

Rockstar Games’ announcement of the new modification options coming for the Vapid Minivan next week comes just days after the launch of the Declasse Tornado Custom. Given how frequently the developer is adding vehicles to Benny’s Original Motor Works garage, fans should expect to see plenty more lowriders added to Grand Theft Auto Online in the future.

Are you happy with GTA V‘s recent micro content releases such as new vehicles mods and Adversary Modes, or would you rather see a more substantial update?
