[Video] Clinton Campaign Turned On Static Noise Machine So Reporters Couldn’t Hear What She Was Telling Donors At A Fundraiser

Hillary Clinton’s campaign is reported to have used a static noise machine on Thursday to block reporters outside of a fundraiser in Denver from hearing her remarks.

Stan Bush, a reporter for Denver’s CBS-4, who was stationed outside of the event, reported that the machine was held outdoors at the home of Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, a superdelegate who has endorsed Clinton.

Clinton, who was holding a fundraiser Thursday evening in Colorado, was speaking outside at a private residence. Just when she started to speak, campaign staffers directed a speaker spewing out static noise at reporters hanging out across the street, Bush stated.

Bush immediately tweeted about the whole incident.

“Guess @HillaryClinton campaign dsn’t want reporters to hear fundraiser speech. Turned on a static noise machine pointed at us when she spoke,” Bush tweeted.

To prove his theory, Bush also posted a video on Twitter.

Daily Caller claimed that Clinton’s visit to Denver was solely for fundraising purposes. She lost to Vermont senator Bernie Sanders by 20 points in last month’s caucuses. According to The Denver Post, the top donor level for the fundraiser was $27,000. Funds will be dispersed between the Clinton campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and state party committees.

The site also stated that the Clinton campaign frequently uses noise in another way to prevent reporters from overhearing the candidate’s remarks. They usually do it while Clinton is shaking hands with voters at campaign events, as staff will crank up music to prevent reporters from recording their conversations.

Similar criticism of former First Lady Clinton includes using ropes to prevent reporters getting too close to her.

Sanders’ campaign is taking a dig at Clinton’s campaign for the alleged used of sound suppressing machine.

A Reddit user, /u/icaito, spoke officially as a moderator of the subreddit /r/sandersforpresident. He said that their campaign needs to out-spend Clinton in New York and continue out-fundraising her.

Highlighting the total funds raised until March 31st, which totaled $182,195,654 for Sanders and $176,503,224 for Clinton, he added:

Plain and simple. HFA is desperate.

Clinton’s billionaire-backed campaign is being out-fundraised by “millennials” who “don’t research”. Last month she spend nearly $33M and only brought in $29.5M, and as we enter the most expensive media markets in the country, she’s dumping in $900,000worth of ad buys, in her home-state, where she’s supposed to be cruising, with wide poll margins. Well, those margins are closing, and we can very well run her dry out of cash.

She needs to rely on big-money events like this one just to stay afloat, whereas we are changing the game altogether. She’s gotta resort to hiding her speeches to rich donors by blasting static noise, while Bernie speaks openly of the change we need.

Many people have tried trying to decode the message, including Redditor runningfromlions. He states that the noise was not consistent enough for him to be able to get any meaningful results via phase inversion on basic pink/white noise.

The best he could get was:

“‘Good point!, um..at.. at this time they don’t’ and I cant save the rest. possibly ‘count really'” [sic]

Here is the rip from the source if you want to decode Hillary’s message yourself.
