Justin Bieber Makes Selena Gomez Jealous By Complimenting Kendall Jenner? Charlie Puth Talks ‘Happy’ Hookup [Video]
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have been baffling Jelena (Justin+Selena) fans with the latest chapter in their love story. Now, their off-again-on-again romance seems to have gone from hot (she showed up at his concert recently) to cold (he ignored her at a recent award show). And a new bombshell just dropped for celebrity relationship watchers when the pop idol complimented former girlfriend Kendall Jenner, pointed out Hollywood Life.
Kendall just appeared on the cover of Vogue in her most recent supermodel success. The Biebs made it clear that he was impressed, praising Jenner as “beautiful.” But that compliment came only a day following the bizarre sight of Justin completely ignoring Selena at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. And that’s led to speculation that the 22-year-old pop star is attempting to make Gomez jealous by returning his attention to Kendall.
Moreover, the “Sorry” singer used a nickname when he complimented Jenner on social media.
“Congrats ken you look beautiful,” posted Justin.
As for his relationship history with Jenner, they’ve dated off and on. But is there now a new love triangle involving Kendall with the Biebs and his former girlfriend? Even though Selena showed her support at his concert, he strolled directly past her when they were backstage at the iHeartRadio Awards.
As for Gomez, an insider revealed to HollywoodLife that she wanted to make her former boyfriend jealous by hooking up with Charlie Puth. Is the Biebs getting back at Selena by using Kendall?
“It’s not serious, but she’s super into [Charlie],” revealed the insider.
Moreover, one of Gomez’s friends described the relationship that Puth has developed with the singer as a “flirty friendship.”
Charlie himself revealed to Us that his affection began when he realized that she understood him like no one else.
“I don’t know if anyone really understands me,” admitted Puth. “She gets me.”
In addition, Charlie expressed his “happy” feeling about his new girlfriend.
“I was very floored by how well she handled herself and how mature she was. It’s nice to get to know the actual person and finding out she’s an interesting person… I’m happy that we’re friends,” added Puth.
Charlie also addressed the rumors that his relationship had gone from flirty fun to a hot hookup but found himself getting teased more than succeeding in clarifying anything, pointed out ET.
Puth finally gave up.
“I’m trying to evade the question,” confessed Charlie. “We’re friends, and I’m very happy to have collaborated with her. She’s a really awesome singer.”
And there’s a chance they’ll become even closer, because Puth also revealed that the two will be teaming up during her tour.
“I’m going on tour with her. She’s gracious enough to let me come on a couple dates with her,” noted Charlie.
“Selena Gomez going on dates with Charlie Puth,” teased the interviewer in response.
While Puth tries to sort out what he wants to say about his relationship with his new girlfriend, that leaves the question of whether Kendall is going to become the rebound romance for the Biebs. Jenner has found herself caught in the middle before when it comes to Jelena, however.
Kendall and Bieber had an affair at one point, and they both tried to keep it secret, a source told Hollywood Life.
However, Jenner got caught out when it came to protecting their privacy.
“Selena knows Kendall and Justin hooked up behind her back because one of his really, really close friends told her,” revealed the source.
And it wasn’t just that one pal who revealed the truth about Jenner’s hookup, added the insider.
“She knows they hooked up — a bunch of people have told her, and these are people that saw it go down with their own eyes.”
