Justin Bieber Slams Prince William Over Receding Hairline
Teenage hearthrob Justin Bieber is on the receiving end of a host of negative backlash after he openly dissed Prince William’s thinning hairline.
During a recent interview with Great Britain’s Rollercoaster magazine, Bieber — well-known for his trend-setting hairstyles — questioned the Prince’s efforts to address his male pattern baldness.
“I mean, there are things to prevent that nowadays, like Propecia,” Bieber told the magazine, reports the Daily Telegraph.
“I don’t know why he doesn’t just get those things, those products. You just take Propecia and your hair grows back. Have you not got it over here?”
While Prince William has yet to personally address Bieber’s hair comments, a large portion of the U.K. is reportedly peeved at the Boyfriend singer’s slam of their future king.
British journalist and author, Jessica Callan, told HuffPo:
“The Brits are viewing Justin Bieber’s diss about Prince William’s challenging hair problem in the same way you view an annoying fly buzzing around you. He needs to be swatted away.
Callan added:
“Will and Prince Harry may joke about William’s thinning hair, but that doesn’t mean a kid like Justin can come sauntering in and join in the joke. It’s like inviting someone over for dinner and they tell you how awful your carpet is. Even if you agree, how dare they say it? So the Biebs had better watch out!”
