Nick Cannon Worried His & Mariah Carey’s Kids Will ‘End Up Like Kendall & Kylie Jenner’

According to a new report by InTouch Weekly, Nick Cannon is refusing to let ex-wife Mariah Carey feature their two children on her upcoming reality series for fears that they’ll “end up like Kendall and Kylie Jenner.”

A source revealed to the site earlier this week that Cannon is allegedly doing everything he can to prevent Mariah from including Moroccan and Monroe on her E! docu-series, Mariah’s World, and allegedly finds it “disturbing” that his family could turn into the next Kardashians.

“The idea that they could become reality TV stars is very disturbing to him,” a source supposedly told InTouch Weekly of how Nick feels about Mariah’s new series, revealing that Nick’s preference is for his children’s “lives to be as private as possible.”

“Nick’s worst nightmare is that Moroccan and Monroe will end up like Kendall and Kylie Jenner, growing up way too fast because of the cameras,” the gossip site’s source continued of Cannon, who noted that Mariah’s World “is being produced by the same crew that handles Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

But despite Nick’s supposed plea to Mariah to keep their twins away from the reality TV cameras, InTouch Weekly‘s source is alleging that Carey “hasn’t decided” if her children will make an appearance on the show, which is thought to have already begun filming.

“Mariah refuses to have any discussions with him,” the insider claimed, “Every time Nick tries to talk to her about it, her assistants call him back and tell him she’s unavailable.”

Claims that Mariah and Nick are supposedly butting heads over the children come just weeks after Cannon denied that there was any bad blood between himself and his ex in a lengthy Twitter message.

“How many times do I have to reiterate [Mariah Carey] and I are super cool! Stop trying to create negativity, we will never subscribe to it,” Nick tweeted out on March 22, after a number of gossip source speculated that he may have written a “diss track” about his former wife.

Adding that he and Mariah “are both very happy and have both moved on” from their divorce on the social media site earlier this month, Cannon continued, “Like I have always said I will forever Respect and Love [Mariah Carey] and will never say anything negative about the mother of my children. Y’all know me I never have a problem speaking my mind, so If I have something to say, I just come out and say it!”

While neither Nick Cannon nor Mariah Carey have spoken out about the latest claims surrounding Mariah’s World, this is just the latest drama to hit Carey as she attempts to give fans a behind the scenes look at her glamorous life.

The Mirror alleged last week that Mariah was actually banned from filming the upcoming series at a London department store after workers were worried that her presence and her extensive entourage would cause too much disruption for shoppers.

The site claimed that Carey was hoping to film a makeover scene with a friend at Harrods in the British capital, but was denied permission to film for fears that she’d cause a “commotion.”

“Store managers felt there would have been a lot of commotion, which would be really disruptive to the shop’s staff and customers,” an insider told The Mirror, who also revealed that “Mariah’s entourage would have been in the dozens and there’s no way usual trading could have gone on.”

The source then revealed that Carey and her team “had to look for alternative locations for the shoot.”
