Sara Gilbert And Johnny Galecki Together Again, Mini ‘Roseanne’ Reunion On ‘The Big Bang Theory’

Sara Gilbert, talk show host and Big Bang Theory recurring guest, has been married for two years to her wife, rocker Linda Perry. Despite being married for two years, Linda Perry and Sara Gilbert look as if they keep falling for each other over and over again. According to the Daily Mail, the couple was spotted in attendance at the Family Equality Council Impact Awards in Beverly Hills.

Linda Perry looked the way she usually does, rocking the rocker attire in style, while Sara wore a humble black blazer over her brown T-shirt with some chains around her neck. Also at the event were Sara Gilbert’s co-star Sharon Osbourne, Callista Flockhart, and Greg Berlanti.

Always controversial, Sharon Osbourne said that she has always admired what Sara Gilbert and Linda Perry have, finding it boring being straight sometimes. Sharon Osbourne spoke on teasing Sara about her relationship.

“I’m always asking Sara on the show what it’s like to [have good sex]. I just don’t remember really.”

Leading up to the program, Sara Gilbert was admittedly nervous. Sara Gilbert talked about her pre-show nerves.

“I don’t know why I’m nervous – it really can’t get any worse than that introduction! It’s all uphill from there.”

To which Linda just ended up finding cute, speaking about Sara Gilbert’s nervousness.

“Sara gets embarrassed so easily – I loved it!”

Linda performed the song “Beautiful,” which she had written for Christina Aguillera, as well as a hit from her band 4 Non Blondes in the early part of the evening.

She couldn’t help but express how much joy it is for her and Sara Gilbert towards being parents to a 1-year-old son. Linda Perry spoke about her son.

“I feel pretty blessed. I don’t know what happened, I don’t know what I did.”

Greg Berlanti was also honored in the program, aside from Sara Gilbert and Linda Perry. An award was presented to him by one of the stars of his current hit show Supergirl, Callista Flockhart. Callista Flockhart spoke about Greg Berlanti.

“Greg has been pushing the TV envelope – he is showing gay people as they really are and always in the context of their family and friends. I believe it’s true the world has changed in the last 10 years… it’s because of people like Greg Berlanti who has helped lead the way.”

Moving forward from the awards, Sara Gilbert is slated to appear in the 200th episode of The Big Bang Theory. According to Carter Matt, Sara Gilbert is going to reprise her role as Leonard’s ex-girlfriend Leslie for the first time in a long time.

Sara Gilbert fans would remember that she and Johnny Galecki, who plays Leonard, were on-screen lovers on Roseanne many years ago. Here’s a TBT photo that Johnny Galecki posted late last year.

Alongside Sara, Adam West is going to be in the episode as another big surprise. Would he be playing an over-the-top version of himself? Let’s hope so. It’s always a blast watching Batman in action. The premise of the 200th episode is that it’s Sheldon’s birthday. This is a promising episode, because Sheldon isn’t normally one to celebrate birthdays. The other returning cast might include Wil Wheaton, Kevin Sussman, and John Ross Bowie.

The talk show host and actress Sara Gilbert has been so successful in the past couple of years that she and her wife bought a new contemporary home up in LA’s historic Hancock Park. According to Variety, the home was bought for $6.85 million. The house is a modern-day farmhouse style at three-stories high, and it takes inspiration from Napa Valley vineyard architecture. The home is also near the Wilshire Country Club and features six bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms inside the 6,100-square-foot building.
