Trump Hypocrisy: Ivanka Trump Slammed On Instagram After Zaha Hadid Post

Trump’s campaign hit another twist after Donald Trump’s daughter posted on Instagram to send her regards to the recent passing of world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid.

The photo was just posted three hours ago, as of this writing, and a couple of comments had started to pile in. There were a lot of comments that showed their dismay regarding the news. Some of the architect’s fans also sent their condolences to the late Zaha Hadid.

“She was an incredible figure in architecture, being the only woman to win the (Nobel prize equivelent) Pritzker Architecture Prize. She designed the beautiful Eli And Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University in East Lansing and we are lucky to have it [sic],” wrote Laura Lynne Crandall.

On the other hand, Zaha Hadid being of Iraqi descent caused a couple of outbursts.

Zaha Hadid was born in Baghdad, Iraq, and she grew up in the Middle East. Her architecture was greatly inspired by the buildings in Iraq. In her collegiate life, she studied in Beirut and studied at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London.

Though Zaha Hadid eventually earn her British citizenship, she was Iraqi by birth.

This struck some of the commenters since the Trump campaign has been very clear on their stance on segregating America from “foreigners.” Donald Trump has also been very popular because of his “Wall of America” quotes. All in all, the Republican presidential candidate’s “Make America Great Again” campaign focuses on separating Americans from these so-called “outsiders.”

Ivanka Trump being a Donald Trump supporter makes this post very intriguing.

Some pointed out that Ivanka Trump should have acknowledged the fact that Zaha Hadid was Iraqi and she should have brought it up to her father. A user Amina MD MPH, “Iraqi living in Chicago,” posted a comment saying that Zaha Hadid was a Muslim as well.

Other users commended Amina for her bold statement. However, after a couple of minutes, the comment was removed. It is still unknown if the user intentionally removed the comment or it was banned by Ivanka Trump’s account.

Luckily, the other users’ comment on Amina’s post were retained, providing proof of her previously posted comment.

At the same time, Ivanka Trump or her Instagram account managers were not able to decipher what the other posts stated.

Apparently, some other posts were written in Persian language. According to translation, some commenters called Ivanka Trump a “b**ch” for being a hypocrite. The user also added that Ivanka was just the same as her father, Donald Trump.

Some of the screenshots can be seen below.

The question here lies in the sincerity of her post. Was this a genuine condolence or was it an act of joining the bandwagon? Is it because Zaha Hadid is half British that she can be considered an acceptable Iraqi? Is it because she has some kind of influence and fame that she can be included in the “American circle?” Do the bourgeoisie get to decide which ones can come in the “Great American Wall” or not?

Ivanka Trump’s Big Irony and Hypocrisy

Though Ivanka Trump has been seen alongside her father’s campaign, it has been difficult to understand where she comes in on her father’s beliefs. Still, if she is supporting Donald Trump, it means that she believes in Donald Trump’s values.

As Washington Post noted, Ivanka Trump’s social presence has been a direct opposite of Donald Trump’s campaign. On her Instagram account, Ivanka Trump would promote women in the workforce. She even has this cause posted on her website that focuses on #WomenWhoWork.

“Ivanka’s account promotes certain positive-thinking truisms that can also read like a rebuke to the 2016 campaign,” according to Washington Post.

Ivanka Trump’s stance on this campaign has been questionable. If you are the type of person who vies for women, why do you support a man who blatantly scrutinizes women for their period (like Donald Trump’s infamous attack on reporter Megyn Kelly).

On the other hand, this might not be a surprise after all. Over the past years, Donald Trump has repeatedly “joked” about his intention to have sexual relations with Ivanka “if only I was not his, you know, father.”

Ivanka even sat beside her father during most of these interviews with little to no disgust to her father’s remarks — as if this was a norm in the family’s inside jokes.

Ivanka’s queer reaction was even highlighted during their interview in Wendy Williams’ talk show. They were asked what their favorite game to play with each other.

As usual Ivanka responded with a pleasant and acceptable answer, “either real estate or golf.”

On the other hand, Donald Trump was on his streak as he said, “Well, I was going to say sex but I can’t really…”

Though everyone laughed at his joke, Ivanka was quite surprised.

Ivanka Trump might be having an internal battle with all these malicious attacks on Donald Trump’s campaign. She wanted to preserve her image as a professional businesswoman and a caring mother, while she maintains her father’s praise.

According to Washington Post, Ivanka Trump even hired a PR manager to do an “anti-Donald” movement.

“She has hired public-relations experts to field her calls and try to spread the word that she is focused on her family and business — not politics.”

Whether or not Ivanka Trump is trying to be fickle on her beliefs, it is apparent that she is trying to please both conflicting aspects of her life.
