Kim Kardashian Seeks Fans Who Will Battle Her In New Game Show ‘Big Fan’ Co-Produced By Jimmy Kimmel

Kim Kardashian is looking for her biggest fans, the ones who know the most about the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star.

On March, 22, Kim tweeted that she will be participating in a game show from ABC, and she urged her fans to apply to get a chance to compete and meet her.

The show is Big Fan, a half-hour game show wherein fans battle against each other on who knows the most about their celebrity idols. Big Fan is based on Jimmy Kimmel’s segment “Who Knows?” as seen on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

According to New York Daily News, three fans will battle head-to-head, and the winner will then proceed to the final round — celebrity vs. super fan. The winner will be able to hang out with their favorite celebrity.

In February, it was reported that ABC had ordered a TV show based on “Who Knows?” Variety reports that the new game show will be produced by Banijay Studios North America together with Jimmy Kimmel. Andy Richter is reported to be the host of Big Fan.

Big Fan follows in the footsteps of Lip Sync Battle, a segment from Jimmy Fallon’s late-night show, which was turned into a music battle TV series on Spike. The show has celebrities battling head-to-head in lip sync performances, and a variety of celebrities have already participated, including Anne Hathaway, Justin Bieber, John Krasinski, and Emily Blunt, among others. The show is currently in its second season, and it has already been renewed for a third.

Another show segment that is said to be turned into a series is Carpool Karaoke from The Late Show with James Corden. The Hollywood Reporter said that the show will be produced by CBS Television, and although James Corden will not be hosting, he will be involved as an executive producer.

Banijay Studios president David Goldberg said that Jimmy Kimmel’s segment stood out among his other regular segments because of the episode with Katy Perry.

“Night after night, ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ delivers a slew of great comic bits. There were many to choose from, but ‘Who Knows…?’ featuring Katy Perry stood out as one that could be expanded into a really unique comedic game show concept that gives fans at home a chance to be part of the experience.”

In the episode, Katy Perry competed against a fan… and lost. The fan went home with Katy’s autographed pillow. Watch the entire segment below.

Jimmy Kimmel promises a lot of fun on Big Fan and says that he “can’t think of a better way to terrify celebrities.”

If you think you are the biggest fan of Kim Kardashian, fill out a casting application form online to get a chance to play with your idol. All applicants must be at least 18-years-old and a legal resident of the U.S. There are a few questions to answer about yourself and your favorite celebrity. The deadline for all applicants is on April 1.

As of writing, there is no word on when Kim Kardashian’s episode is set to air or when the six-episode series will begin.
