Juan Pablo Galavis Joining JoJo Fletcher’s Season Of “The Bachelorette’? Ready For Love Or Just Fame Hungry?

There’s little doubt that Juan Pablo Galavis’ time on The Bachelor was one of the worst yet for the series. Now that ABC has named JoJo Fletcher as the next Bachelorette, Galavis is trying to get back on the show. Is he really looking for love or just playing more games for the sake of fame?

According to Radar Online, Galavis left the world of reality dating with more than one scandal to his name. However, after learning about Fletcher’s selection as the next lead on The Bachelorette, the former Bachelor star apparently wants to put his controversies aside and get back in the game.

“I have READ so MANY good things about JoJo in the past WEEKS that if she is the NEXT bachelorette, I MIGHT have to sign up AGAIN,” he wrote on Twitter. “I am #TeamJoJo and I have only SEEN her in like 20 pictures on my TWITTER… #SHECUTE.”

As fans will recall, Galavis first made his way onto the reality series during Desiree Hartsock’s run on The Bachelorette. He then appeared the following year on The Bachelor and selected Nikki Ferrell as his final pick. Although the couple tried to make things work out, they eventually broke up in 2014.

In speaking about her public break up with Galavis, Daily Mail is reporting that Ferrell was not happy with her boyfriend’s priorities. While she fully understood his love for his daughter came first, she did not appreciate how low he made her feel.

“I knew I was never going to be the number one priority,” she shared following the split. “He has a daughter. But there’s a difference between being the second priority and the seventh priority.”

As fans will recall, Galavis not only refused to propose to Ferrell but he also didn’t tell her that he loved her. Naturally, this led to Galavis being referred to as one of the worst Bachelors in the history of the show.

Of course, Juan Pablo Galavis also created waves in the media when he commented on whether or not ABC should allow a gay contestant to come on the show. Although he quickly apologized about his comments, the damage had already been done.

“I don’t think it’s a good example for kids to watch that on TV,” he stated. “It’s hard, it’s hard, it’s a very thin line… There’s this thing about gay people – it seems to me, and I don’t know if I’m mistaken or not… but they’re more ‘pervert’ in a sense. And to me the show would be too strong, too hard to watch.”

Meanwhile, isn’t known if Galavis wants to return to the show as a contestant for the right reasons. Considering how Galavis charges up to $10,000 per interview, it seems likely that fame and fortune are his primary motivations over finding true love.

Furthermore, Us Magazine is reporting that Galavis has a lot of work to do if he wants to earn his way back on the show. After all, he didn’t leave on the best of terms with the cast and crew of the hit reality series.

“Juan is so angry with The Bachelor production team,” a source revealed at the end of Galavis’ run. “He’s had major tension with them since right when he got back from filming.”

For her part, Fletcher is apparently already starting to mingle with her suitors for the coming season. If Galavis truly wants to be counted as one of the contestants in the coming season, then he’s going to have to move fast. Hopefully, for Fletcher’s sake, his heart is in the right place.
