Yolanda Foster Faced With Divorce, Lyme Disease During ‘RHOBH’ Reunion As David Foster Enjoys A Date With Selma Blair

Yolanda Foster and her husband, David, parted ways at the end of last year amid production on the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And while their split has been touched upon by her co-stars, including Kathryn Edwards and Lisa Vanderpump, throughout Season 6, Yolanda Foster’s divorce will reportedly be brought up again by Andy Cohen during the upcoming reunion special.

“Andy Cohen attempted to get [Yolanda Foster] to talk about what led to the break-up but she wasn’t having it,” a source told Radar Online on March 14. “From Yolanda’s viewpoint, this isn’t part of any public discussion or part of the show. This is a very, very sad time for her.”

Yolanda Foster married David on November 11, 2011, and just four years later, after filming three seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and embarking on a years-long battle with Lyme disease, the couple parted ways.

After Cohen continued to ask questions about Yolanda Foster’s split, Erika “Jayne” Girardi came to her friend’s defense and “asked Andy to move on.”

“Erika is very, very protective of [Yolanda Foster] and didn’t think it was appropriate that Andy seemed to be digging in,” the source explained. “Yolanda revealed she loves David, and that will never change, but they just could no longer be married.”

In addition, claimed the source, Yolanda Foster wondered out loud if “she hadn’t gotten Lyme disease, whether she would still be married,” said the source. “David never really got to be married to the healthy, carefree Yolanda, because she got the disease shortly after they were married.”

Yolanda Foster was diagnosed with Lyme disease just months after she and David wed, and although he was supportive of her traveling to find a cure, the illness understandably changed the dynamic of their marriage.

Since Yolanda Foster and David announced their divorce, ironically on the day of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 premiere, Yolanda Foster has been focused on her children and getting healthy, while he has reportedly moved on with the much-younger actress, Selma Blair.

Yolanda Foster “is absolutely stunned David has already begun dating,” a source claimed, noting a recent dinner date between the couple at Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood, California. It was “a blow to [Yolanda Foster’s] ego.”

“Selma and David were alone together at dinner and they looked really cozy,” an eyewitness told Radar Online at the time.

As for Yolanda Foster, added the source, “She has vowed she will begin dating, but in the future. She is focusing on her health and kids.”

Yolanda Foster continues to search for a Lyme disease cure, and as she does, she’s chronicling her battle with fans on Instagram and Twitter. Meanwhile, Yolanda Foster’s three children, Gigi, Bella and Anwar Hadid, continue to have success in the world of modeling. In addition to Gigi and Bella’s frequent runway appearances, which include a number of gigs during fashion weeks around the country, Yolanda Foster’s youngest child with ex-husband Mohamed Hadid, Anwar, recently signed with a modeling agency.

Also during the reunion, Yolanda Foster is expected to address the ongoing speculation regarding her and her children’s Lyme disease diagnosis.
