Nadya “Octomom” Suleman has earned money by stripping and performing in a solo adult film and now she’s begging her “fans” for $150,000 to buy a home. On the website GoFundMe.comOctomom is asking whoever can help to provide donations of any size.
Octomom lives in her home with all 14 of her children. The infamous mother recently took herself off welfare after earning money from her adult side businesses.
Here’s the kicker, she lost her last La Habra house because she couldn’t make the mortgage payments and she now wants to buy a house so expensive that she needs $150,000 just for a single down payment.
Nadya Suleman has been given two weeks to leave her current home and she believes she needs to buy a large house for her huge family rather than finding a place to rent.
To make the money she needs for monthly payments and other family based expenses Octomom is attempting to book as many stripping gigs as she can get.
On the one hand the desperate plea for money is rather pathetic, on the other hand at least she’s trying to take money directly from taxpayers instead of through government mandates programs that force us to pay for her stupid infertility choices.

Octomom appears to have forgotten (or never learned) what that means. Despite all the advice to the contrary, she made her decision. I don't think it's a surprise to many people that she finds herself in this position. Lol. Girl calm down. When you post something on Facebook it means that others can chime in with their opinions. You empathize with her but most of us don't. What you are referring to are circumstances beyond a persons control. Losing a job, husband, or standard resources are altogether different. Octomom created a ploy to gain recognition, power and money and it all backfired, so there it is there. I don't condone anyone taking her kids away or seeing her kids suffer but I would never contribute a fine to her cause because it was self inflicted. @ Mary She had a lot given to her. She had round the clock child care donated from an agency. She was given furniture, hardwood flooring, plus many baby supplies. She turned down an offer to do a reality show because they did not want to do it on her terms. They were going to pay her a lot of money(do not remember the figure) to do the show. In addition, her dad did an interview when she first had that set of 8. He said that he was going to come out of retirement and go back to work to help support her kids. I do not know what kind of job he has that will support him, his wife and 15 other people.
She can not work a normal job because the cost of child care would exceed the pay of the job. The reason we are so hard on her is because that was predictable. We can not understand why she could not foresee this. She had six children before she went and paid someone to give her some more. What in the world can you do when you have 14 small children and you are alone.

She locked the kids in the room while she was getting her hair done. Many of us are out here raising kids and have household expenses and that is why we are not rocking a $500 hair style. We choose to make sure the basics are taken care of before we get anything for ourselves. If she is making decisions like that then maybe that is why she is losing the house.

Charlene Harrison Not true. Even if I paid a million dollars, there is the matter of Ethics that all doctors are supposed to follow. The ASRM recommends only 1-2 embryos be transferred in healthy women under age 35. As simply a nursing student, I know this; you better believe that an RE knows this! They are supposed to follow specific guidelines when using ART procedures to help infertile couples. Two problems with this lady: She ALREADY had 6 kids she couldn't pay for, she was NOT put through a psychological exam, and she had a gross amount of embryos transferred, even though BOTH SHE and the RE knows the extensive risks to a person and her unborn babies that a multiples pregnancy brings forth. This RE broke a code of ethics, and it doesn't matter WHY, just that he did it. We all can make excuses for him doing the wrong thing, or we can admit that no matter what the amount of $ offered, he should have said "NO" And if she's so poor, how did she get IVF money anyway? That shit is at least $10,000 PER CYCLE.
If she can't support her kids, perhaps the state would be a better fit? I'm sure if she put her mind to it, she could find a way to make it work. I don't have any money to donate, but I would be happy to foster-adopt a few of the children. Of course, we don't have a big, bad home, but we can afford to feed them and we don't beg for money….so if it's all "for the children" let's all come together and adopt a few and get them OUT of her house!
Let's try for a moment to separate Nadya from her children. Yes, I agree her choices were very poorly thought out. Who goes to a sperm donor and asks for more children when they already have six and are a single mother? Of course she made some very bad, very ego-centric choices. I won't disagree with that. However, those 14 little lives that she brought into this world are innocent of the choices that she made. They did not have anything to do with their mother's choice to enlarge their family. I feel for the children who suddenly have eight brothers and sisters, a ton of media attention, and a very stressed out and perhaps even sometimes neglectful mother. I feel for the messed up lives that they are invariably going to grow up in, and what that might mean to whatever children they choose to have in the future. Yes, Nadya screwed up. Yes, Nadya probably has some mental problems. But, if it all possible I would like to see the children in a decent living situation. And, if at all possible, I would like to see them together and not taken away from their birth mother (that never ends well and always leaves scars on the children's psyche) and their siblings. I hate to see the government have to step in and take the children away because she can not provide a safe home for them to live in.

Well, gee, we lost 3/4 of our pay when my husband lost his job, gee, does anybody want to donate to us? We lost our home due that nightmare- we picked up the pieces and moved on. Mom went to the Doctor and begged him not to do that because Nadya was living in their house and was imposing a hardship on her & husband. Nadya found another Doctor. She requested that he implant these embryos. The number that she wanted implanted was very unusual. She might not have expected all of them to take. 45 doctors had to come in to deliver these babies. The Dr. that implanted them actually got in legal trouble for that. People wanted someone held accountable. They went after him. A company helped her with the medical bills. Most people realize that the kids are here and they have to be taken care of regardless of what kind of parents they have. She does not appear to be too humble. She seems to be trying to capitalize off of the situation and constantly at the expense of others. That is what infuriates people.

That is why all of us are not trying to 14 children. You could not chase us down and give us that many.
They need to be removed from her home, then. If she cant provide their basic needs, then she should not have custody. That's what parents who divorce argue all the time. SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST NOT FIT to be parents. She's one of them. Do you not see that the KIDS ARE who we're concerned about?
