Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris Anniversary: Rita Ora Leading Them To Break Up?

Taylor Swfit is over the moon as she completes one year with Calvin Harris. Swift even posted a picture of the sweet birthday gift she got from her boyfriend. “3.6.15 — One year down!” she captioned the picture. Calvin Harris also posted Snapchat videos that showed the couple celebrating their anniversary with a cake. But really, how true is it that the two are very much in love and happy?

Fresh rumors of a break up have come up, and the reason this time around is Rita Ora. Recently, it was reported that Taylor Swift’s beau had refused to make music with Swift. It’s been said that the star is collaborating with Beyoncé instead.

Sources say his team wants him to make music with a big U.S. star, and of course, his girlfriend’s name did come up, the Sun has reported.

“Calvin’s next single is ready but the label is keen for him to get a big female US star to collaborate on it. They know he attracts amazing names because everyone wants to work with him,” a source said.

Taylor Swift’s beau has worked with several big stars, but isn’t keen on working with Swift at the moment.

“He has already worked with Rihanna, Kylie and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. They floated the idea of him working with Taylor but he politely declined it,” the source added.

One can’t help but wonder what could the reason for that be. But it looks like a source does have an answer to that.

The source has said that Taylor Swift’s boyfriend is afraid the collaboration on the music front might affect their relationship.

“Calvin has seen how sour things can turn when working with someone he’s dating. He is very serious about Taylor and doesn’t want to rock the boat. He’s smitten. Instead, he is in talks with Beyoncé as he’s always wanted the pair to work together,” the source said.

Harris and Ora were together for a year before they broke up in 2014. It had even been reported that Taylor Swift’s beau stopped Ora from releasing any tracks they’d worked together on. However, the track “I Will Never Let You Down” was released before their split.

It looks like even Swift is worried about what may happen after Ora releases his new album that will feature songs about her relationship with Taylor Swift’s beau.

“Taylor is worried about Rita Ora’s upcoming record, because there are a couple of tracks that paint Calvin in a bad light,” a source told Hollywood Life.

The source said Swift does not want Harris to be shown in bad light and is nervous about his ex Rita Ora’s new album.

“She doesn’t want any negative comments about her man affecting their relationship because of the public conception of how perfectly suited to each other they are, and how squeaky-clean he appears to be,” the source shared.

Also, it looks like Taylor is taking all the precautions she can, to not become a talk of the town. The reason for this caution is Kanye West, of course. “Plus, after being the subject of an attack by Kanye it’s the last thing she needs to have her name dragged up in public in someone else’s music,” the insider adds.

It had been reported that the two hit it off at the 2015 Brit Awards and since then, have been together. And after two weeks, Taylor flew to Las Vegas to be with him in Las Vegas, where he was performing.
